Publisher's Summary

Pandora’s box has been opened. The Pantheon of Emerilia has gone through tremendous changes the event of Myths and Legends suppressed.

Warships now move in the stars, made of soul-gem constructs, built by mages and engineers, crewed by those who lived on Emerilia or within Earth’s simulation. The Deq’ual system stands with Emerilia, their brothers and sisters, and their family and fellow human descendants. The Jukal Empire will not let Emerilia rise peacefully.

As empires grow, so, too, can they be toppled. Only one can remain; in their biggest gamble yet, they must pass through the fires of war, empire against empire.

Good ending to the series

I really enjoyed this series, though the power creep became a little crazy at times and some battles a little tedious, overall it was very good and enjoyable. Not to mention that it is actually complete, and resolved.

I initially was a little weary of this book, partly because I listened to it right after the previous book which tends to burn cause me to burn out on series for a while but it came to a satisfying conclusion and I enjoyed it.

The bad: I didn't care for the battles, I felt I knew what was going to happen and just wanted to move the story along. That said, I tried to think of ways to write the book without them and I couldn't, plus some of these epic battles are the payoffs that people have been expecting for most of the series. So not my cup of tea but not terrible on a whole.
This book probably could have been edited down a little but so could most books.

The good: The resolutions, I feel were very good, everything got wrapped up nicely enough, the characters good a good send off without the author having to resort to hand waving away the problems. The very last bit really convinced me to write this review because I like it so much, that last paragraph or so (probably, I don't know, I listened to it).

I don't know if I'll read more of Michael Chatfield, I have a lot I'm currently reading, but I won't rule it out.

I'm glad I read Emerilia, I'm glad I met Dave and got to go along on this adventure with him and his friends.
Thank you Michael Chatfield

Mixed feelings

I really struggled to like this book. On the one hand I was so happy to have a substantial series on audible in the litRPG genre that actually reached completion. On the other hand the difference in quality between the first book of this series and the last book of this series is dramatic. I can appreciate the author running out of energy or losing steam at the end of a large series but this book and to some extent the previous book as well felt very rushed and composed more out of a necessity to close the series rather than a desire to see story brought to its best completion.

Short but sweet!

Although predictably positive, there’s lots of fun as well as a few surprises in store for the readers. Having come this far, you’ve got to finish!

good

in my opinion they should merge them all into one single book collection on Audible or into two separate collections.

Great Series

Can’t really complain. This series had everything you’d want out of an immersive LitRPG world. The only complaint, which at this point is moot, the repetitive class description. For all that is right in the world just simplify it after the 200th time of repeating the stats off. Tell us what changed and leave the rest for us to remember, not that there’s really ever a comparative to know just HOW beneficial the stats are. I’m getting off topic. The book, great, really enjoyed this series and am looking forward to more from the Ten Realms which is just a more refined writer in.
Carry on all! Have a great time listening to this one!

Just amazing!

I’ve read many sci fi series and this is one of my all time favorites!

I enjoyed this series.

I'm happy with the conclusion to this story.
My only complaint is I had a hard time following what was happening in this book. It may have been because I was tired or distracted.

I'm curious to see if any other stories pop out of this universe.

One Hell of an Adventure

Starts with a man trying to get away from life. So many adventures, themes, settings, characters, relationships are introduced between then and the end of the series, never overwhelming. Moments of leisure, casual dialogs, interspersed between rising conflicts and violent climaxes give the story an empathetic connection with people of varying backgrounds and situations. And as always, im sad when the story ends. The ending filled me with a mixture of happiness and longing to hear just a bit more about the lives of all the characters afterward, but it was a good ending. Thank you for the adventure.

Great series easily one of my favorites.

One of my favorites. Adds plenty of content from the best of the genre and couldn't ask for more... Well maybe some more books in the series lol.
