Then this is an audiobook for you!

Emotional Intelligence: The 21-Day Mental Makeover to Master Your Emotions, Improve Your Social Skills, and Achieve Better, Happier Relationships highlights the main components of emotional intelligence, and how being aware of them can contribute to your overall success in life.

Inside you'll discover:

  • What emotional intelligence is, and how it affects your relationships
  • How to decode the emotional and psychological messages that affect your thought pattern
  • The underlying cause of poor interpersonal skills
  • The 21-day challenge to help you restructure your life and improve your relationships

This book can help you have an edge over those who speak or act without thinking. You will realize why people with higher emotional intelligence never ignore their feelings, but recognize and process them before responding to them.

You will understand why emotional intelligence has become a highly sought-after skill, and why the 21-century employers need people who can work well under pressure, and cope in culturally diverse or emotionally charged environments.

Although you may not be able to control the emotions you experience, you will learn how to control your reaction to those emotions, and the impact such reactions can have on those around you.

The ultimate eye-opening guide to mental and emotional makeovers, Emotional Intelligence: The 21-Day Mental Makeover to Master Your Emotions, Improve Your Social Skills, and Achieve Better, Happier Relationships reveals how your reactions triggered by unprocessed and often misinterpreted emotions can negatively affect those around you.

I am so lucky to listen this.

This is best for people who can't handle stress and temper. I thought it will be impossible to control it. Or maybe expensive to consult a professional. This book made it possible for this advice to be handy. This just needs faith. It is really realistic to follow the advice. This is genius. I am so lucky to listen this.

Wonderful audio book - and life changing

Wonderful audio book - and life changing. The information on PTSD and how it relates to the post-traumatic distress of children from dysfunctional homes has been particularly useful to me in the years since 1995, as I deal with children.

A great audio book to learn about how we act

A great audio book to learn about how we act, and why we act those ways. Gives great insight into what goes on in the human brain through development, and brings in biological science to a soft science field. A great listen if it aligns with your interests.

The Basics Of EQ

This was a solid audio book on the basics of EQ. It worked its way from the actual response in the brain to what shapes the response that a person will have. A big focus was towards children and the impact growing up has on a person. I would have liked to see more about the role of EQ in the work place and how to improve and develop better EQ int he workplace tough.

Interesting Guide

I love this audio book. I've leant it out twice and it wasn't returned ( I suspect they needed it more than me at the time). It's the best audio book to re read and go over and really absorb the material.

Fantastic audio Book

Interesting listen I found this audio book very engaging and easy to listen through. Keep in mind this is a science based audio book that presents information and concepts. This is not a self help book. Good for those who want to learn more about how the brain works as it relates to emotions.

the difference between being smart and being wise

Very informational and encouraging if one doesn't "score" high on Emotional Intelligence. It parses the difference between being smart and being wise. And says that these are skills that can be learned, but it, like everything else requires work.
