All parents of daughters and daughters should read

If you're a parent of a daughter, or a woman who's dating, this book will piss you off. But read the book and use it to learn the manipulation techniques that are potentially used against you. Forewarned is forearmed. Knowledge is power.

Somewhat Monotonous

The tone of the voice of the narrator is like he is about to tell a great secret, this tone he maintains throughout the whole book, this makes the books sound monotonous. Even though points are well illustrated, they do not stick in your mind, nor are interesting.

Hmmm... I listened twice

I liked this book and found it interesting. I would recommend it if you like learning about why people do what they do or act the way that they act. I listened twice and I am thinking about listening again. It wasn't too long or too short and was able to get a lot of information in between.

History lover's perspective

I enjoy all of Robert Greene's books but not for the purpose he intended. I am aware that many people use these books as guides or ways to achieve an end but I live these for the historical stories and the people he uses as examples in each lesson.
If you also love unique tales about odd people in history you also will enjoy the series.

Synopsis: be everything, always…. But also aloof

Great voice but tried a little too hard. Stories and concepts were intriguing. Usually enjoy Robert Greens work but this was wildly mediocre. A good listen overall, but took nothing substantial away from it in the end.
