Great for anyone in a leadership

The only thing I have not liked about this book as much compared to other emotional intelligence books is that it does rely a bit more on psychology and psychological terminology. Depending on the type of people involved in leadership development this can be a bit of a turn-off. However, the underlying information is still very good. In fact, I have recommended this book to a group that I am responsible for in leadership development.

Robin has done it again

Goleman has done it again and this may be his finest work. It's distiller to the really important features of EI and this book is a collection of his best articles. I would recommend this book to those who want to increase their EI or if your studying this great subject as a leader or student.

Bought this book for a class I took on campus and did not want to pay the extreme price on campus. Found it on here for a 1/3 of the cost and it was the extact same book it was perfect. Great ship time and wonderful customer service.

Ideas to Ponder

Like a game if you take the time to do the surveys honestly. Maybe this would be a fun and heady book to use on a retreat with close friends w/ whom you could really be truthful. It may reveal more about the members of the group than you'd think. Well written but not, as with anything, to be taken hook, line and sinker.

I really love this audiobook great advice

I really love this audiobook and it helps you a lot at work. Easy listen with an abundant amount of information. Also great advice on working with others and understanding other people.

Amazing book

Had to buy this for one of my college classes. Amazing read. Anyone who is anyone should read it. Not just for “business”... these techniques can be used for anyone who leads or wants to. Great for parents too!
