Great unexpected listen...

So, I think this book was free? I'm not sure because once I started I'm hooked! (I skipped 2 because Jag didn't hook me in this book...)

I got in it because I was in a book slump and thought what the hey right? I did not expect to be absolutely hooked!

The way the main characters met was so out of what I've seen so far and the female protagonist wasn't too too much in her head until later on but the beginning was great! I thought she was going to be carefree for the rest of the book then she changed UGH why does this happen?

I enjoyed Zak's story so much even though Sophie turned out to be a bit of a dud for me;;;what she was in the beginning wasn't what she was in the end and I did not enjoy that at all especially the ogling other men in the club and appreciating them more than Zak yuk!

All in all I enjoyed the book...It's an MC story line, false imprisonment, sorta spicy and really enjoyable...can't take too much of your time...

What I love the most also is the names of the characters on the book so you know exactly whose story you are getting into.

Narration was great

Story was okay until the end. It just fell flat on the floor. I have enjoyed Jeanne St James’s books but with this ending, I’m not going on to the next book. Whoever edited this book needs to go back to college. Not impressed at all with the ‘what’ . . . maybe a cliffhanger?? I just don’t know. 🤦🏼‍♀️

What can I say about Zac...he had a rough time going to prison for something he didn't do but his luck turned around when he met his baker. Simple case of mistaken identity turned out to work really well for him. And Listening to these two read was fantastic.

this was a pretty good story. good romance not much action for mc. I like lots of hard action. that's what mc are about. not sure if its worth buying the other books if they are luke warm as this one.

This book started it all for me when it came to the wonderful world of Jeanne st James books! To say I was excited for the audio re-release is an understatement. I couldn’t wait to hear Zak and Sophie come to life in audio and I was not disappointed! Sean Crisden and Ava Lucas did a fantastic job! With every “babe” I was hooked! I didn’t want this to end! After 10 years I prison for a crime, he didn’t commit, Zak is happy to be home with his DAMC family. A biker through and through. Little did he know that a sweet cupcake shop owner was going to turn his new free world upside down! This book is sweet and hot in all the right places! You get a perfect intro into the DAMC universe that will leave you ready to hear each members story. I couldn’t have asked for better in a first book to a wonderful series!

Loved it!!!!

Very cute book, it grabs a hold of you and keeps your attention to the very end. There are tons of laugh out loud moments and I can't wait to listen to the next book. Both of the narrators are fantastic!!

I've just started to read this series and wow, I'm loving it! Ivecread a few of Jeanne St. James books before and really enjoyed the hot alpha guys!! This was a notch up, can't wait to read the next!! Sean Crisden and Ava Lucas were amazing narrators!!!!❤❤❤

Love this series

This was an awesome audible book about finding love out of your comfort zone. I have read it in paper and absolutely loved the story but to have the voices in your head, it comes alive and you feel like you are part of the action. Sophie only wanted to get her bakery off the ground. Zak wanted to get back to his life and put his jail sentence behind him. Who knew that delivering a cake to his welcome home party would end up with an instant attraction and the best sex of her life? This book had it all - lovable characters that the listener becomes an instant cheerleader for, a plot filled with more twists and turns than a rollercoaster and emotions that have the reader going from laughing to crying and perfect narrators for the characters. Another great book from Jeanne St. James. I cannot wait for more from this series.
