Publisher's summary

Epic adventures, sexy ladies, and awesome dinosaurs!

Three big audiobooks all in one great place.

Nate is the hardworking CEO of SouthernCool, an AC company in Florida. After years of toiling to get rich, he finally takes a well-deserved vacation to Australia. A chance encounter ties him to a gorgeous gal named Senna. Right as things between the two are heating up on the Great Barrier Reef, pesky aliens intervene.

Humanity is doomed, they tell him, destined to become extinct in the not-too-distant future. Nate and Senna are forced to compete for a spot on a human preserve. The competition turns out to be similar to a Real Time Strategy (RTS) 4x game. That means, in order to score points, you have to eXpand your empire, eXterminate your foes, and eXplore and eXploit your environment.

Warning: Contains nontraditional relationships, adult interactions that would steam up the windows of an old pickup truck, and violent action. 18+ recommended.

Fairly solid across the board. A lot of adult content

Don’t let the 4’s fool you, in a lot of ways and for a lot of people I’m sure this is worth a 5.

Overview
This book delivers on its titular promise with RTS style dinosaur-involved warlording. The premise of an alien induced rts game style hunger games is definitely there, and stays on course as the objective. Solid voice acting cast carries this quite well with a decent variety of distinguishable character voices and accents.

My point deductions mostly come from an endless barrage of the endearment terms “Wifee, Waifu, and Wifi.”
I don’t particularly find the characters to grow over the trilogy, and the MC is carried by his team constantly in a cycle of get killed early, wakes up and his team carried on for 2 years without him and ranked high. I also hate the antagonist faction, the lack of effort put into them was grating. Swinging radically between extremes of competence, with very thin motivations.

All that aside. Well worth the listen, be advised there’s a huge amount of graphic adult content, definitely headphones on listening.

Best Series of his so far!

I’ve read a few or Mr. Sloss’ books and this is by far, hands down the best series he has so far. A+ for originality, creativity and character development. B+ for the sex scenes because I like a bit more detail but they were far better than his previous books that I read.

It’s nearing the end of the world. My date and I have been abducted by aliens to play their twisted games for their amusement for the the chance to preserve the human race. I don’t think I’m worthy. However, I’m not backing down from this challenge. I will prevail, and I’ll do it with the women I love and my trusty Dino Steeds by my side.

Awesome!

This is a great series. The narration is done very well and the story is engaging. I give props to both marcus and the narrators. Great job.

Great gameplay elements

The author walks a great line on incorporating story elements. The scoring system doesn’t get explained - it gets used. There isn’t endless repetition of boring stats. When the character checks the score, it does not take long and it usually relates to the story somehow. I never felt irritated by the narrator starting to read the scoring.

The plot was more plausible than the usual getting captured by a demon or sucked into a magic realm. It was really well done. And the ending was … not quite expected, but actually better than expected.

But as good as the story is, the narration carries this book. The voices stay consistent. The inflection is very good. Just great narration. My only complaint is that a couple of the girl’s accents are so thick it is difficult to understand them.

One criticism of the plot is that the primary villain is not really historically accurate, nir does it translate well to the gaming system. I won’t say more that could be a spoiler. The second criticism is that the secondary conflict happening above the game is never really resolved. It gets explored enough to hook you but then goes away without resolution.

Still, a great read in the genre. And being an omnibus, the price is a great value. Enjoy!

Shucks

No one. I repeat. NO ONE says shucks in the modern day south. This is obviously a false Florida Man. The preformers saved this book for me.

wicked good listen

though I don't listen to much erotica, this trilogy was really good. The Rollercoaster of anticipation of what was going to happen next kept me on the edge of my metaphorical seat. The Erotic scenes are really well done. and the ending. oh the ending. you'll have to listen in order to find out. no spoilers of plots or endings of each book from me

fun series!

if you enjoy Syfy and fantasy gamelit harem books - you will probably enjoy this series!

Abducted by aliens, the MC and his lady acquaintance find themselves trapped in a galactic entertainment game with the future of mankind at stake! Forced to play a real life real-time strategy game that includes personal combat, of course dinosaurs are a great choice...

Rebecca and Daniel do a great job with the narration!

I enjoyed this series, and with three books in one, lasting almost 40 hours this is a crazy good use of a credit!!!
