I found this book and the last two vary entertaining, all the planning and his cutthroat family just leaves me on the edge of my seat

Great series, great book

Thanks for another great edition to the series. One request, if you could make the character Cieoha a little less of a "nagging wife" it would be much appreciated. She nags Nick to the point where I wish he'd dump her since she doesn't really contribute to Nick's overall goal.

Better than book 2, heavy on relationship drama

Likes: Good narration by the male narrator. while only 9 hours long, the authors put a lot into the story. The pacing was find, I found myself entertained throughout. I was also glad the cousin got his at the end.

Dislikes: Female narrator, while not as bad as Jessica Dawes I think her name, not far off. She has Koreans sounding like Irish. Hispanics sounding Welsh and British. Alan voice she uses a southwest accent that seems out of place. 2nd issue, the teenage love story and how quick Yennifer moved on from Nick. That's about it, overall a 4.6 out of 5. looking forward to the next entry.

Hanging on every word!

I loved the first couple books, and this one was just as good. It was highly entertaining and kept me wanting more and more. As a writer myself, I tend to get annoyed at unnecessary repetitive and overuse of adjectives/descriptive words. This book has none of those. I was not disappointed in a single minute of this book.

Soap opera drama

The series turned more into a soap opera for relationships and less of an action litrpg. Time to let go.

Nick's gf is really getting annoying

ok so Nick is a really smart 40 year old sent back in time from the future to his teenage body. he has extensive knowledge on many events and always seems to be a step ahead. however the little girl that old guy decides to get romantically involved with (pretty sketchy imo) seems to lecture him more and more on everything he does. like when he fought the snake. like really what else was he supposed to do and instead of standing up for his actions he apologized and folded like a paper sack. I'm here to listen to a book about a smart mc that kicks ass then takes loot and that character always seems to get in the way. remove her
