Good book

I’m not a big fan of actually writing the review, after listening to a book I’ll give it the stars I feel it needs.

Didn't care for the MC

Decent book if you can get past the MC's character flaws. Hes not really a likeable person (not sure if that's what they were going for purposely). Probably won't read the 2nd book bc of that.

Great start

I really like how Ben spoke in the audiobook, sounds like a dapper English gentleman. The plot was easy to follow and was well laid out. At 15 hrs of adventure, i throughly enjoyed listening to it and can’t wait for the next book.

a great take on an Isekai. the MC has the ability to traverse between plants and takes advantage of it. between the harem, trade, and travel made this a fun little ride.

Different but damn good!

I find myself liking books where the mc can go from reality to a different world and back. The whole bring it back with you is a great system exploit. The narrators were excellent and I am eagerly awaiting book 2. Very enjoyable listen that i definitely recommend.

It's worth giving it a shot

So right up front I will say that I recommend this series to anybody reading this review. Next, I will say that I tend to take it easy on the first and last book of any series because beginnings tend to be shaky endeavors and not everybody makes it to “The End.” Next, I will say that I try and make an effort to distinguish between the work of the author and the work of the narrators as well as the quality of the work and my personal preference. We'll get some of the nitpicky personal preference stuff out of the way first. This is the first book that I've ever listened to with the narrator Ben Hart. He's a very good performer, but for me there was a bit of a disconnect with an apparent English gentleman narrating for an American character. To be fair once you're into the story with the magic and whatnot it's not a big deal. The first part of the story didn't grab me and as such I found myself starting to drift off towards other books. I stayed with it and am happy that I did so. As I stated at the beginning, the first book of any series can be a little shaky and that is perhaps even more true for the first chapters of the first book. Ellory Lane has a number of performances available in audiobook. She's done “King of The Wrath,” “Haven,” and “Tiny Souls” to name a few. I have listened to “Tiny Souls” and like then she has executed a flawless performance. I actually have “Haven” queued up next. Now for the author it is my understanding that Dan Raxor is a pen name, or he writes under another pen name. Either way I have very much enjoyed his work to date. He's a top-notch quality writer in my book. He is responsible for the “Top-Tier Privateer” series which has the first two books available in audio. He also just put out last month the “Star Cutter” audio book which was phenomenal. Anyway, this book is an easy recommend for me. I usually listen to an audio book and read an eBook at the same time and so I will be moving on over to “Ruby Mage 2” which is out now. Fingers crossed that it gets the audio treatment as well. Lastly, I'll just say thank you to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us the audible listeners. I really do appreciate the work you all do to keep us entertained.

excellent book

Dan Raxor does an amazing job with his books. I love all of his sci-fi books so taking a spin on the fantasy was a no-brainer for me.

good story

I liked the listen but I do not understand the the dom /sub thing. The story was good and you can skip the wierd dom stuff. since every being in any world wants to be a sub or dom The sex scenes did not help the story. in my opinion.
