I was gifted this book for an honest review. This was a great book especially for 1 credit. over 30 hours of action packed story. Great Characters and an easy book to follow along with.

This could have been so much better!

Let’s see…
Where do we begin?

First, ignore the 5-Star ratings.
Second, the story line is that bad, it is worth a listen.
Third, the narration could have / should have been better.
At times it really was painful.

If you some credits and time to waste (Long bus, train, flight or on the night-shift), check it out.

decent story, but performance not so much

as many others have mentioned, the only problem with this story was the male voice actor. hard to stay engaged when the story is told by a person who has over acted his lines so much that nothing feels tense. the female VA at least tried and put some effort in, but listening to the guy talk and then trying to do sexy scenes is so bad it's laughable, even in serious scenes.

Another note, the story is about a former marine who had a 4 year tour in Afghanistan. The acting makes this former soldier who has taken human lives, sound like a winy teenager with Zero confidence. Feels like another story written by someone with zero military experience trying to fake it, but all it does is take more away from the atmosphere the story is trying to build.

this is clearly my opinion so take it as you will, but I will not recommend this to anyone due to the poor read of the MC. it's a shame. 😔

Who gave this guy a microphone!?

The male narrator absolutely destroyed what could have been an excellent story! The female narrator’s portrayal was top notch compared to his performance but he was so melodramatic it ruined the story!!!!

DUMB MC and Win by luck with lots of sex.

The story, MC have to much little head and not use his brain. The story is Harem story but Why is the MC are a dumb and only win by luck.

Don't waste your time

Only ok storyline. To many, very bad plot lines. Very childish characters that are badly developed.

Really do not like the Guy that does the narration makes it so much harder to finish the book.

excellent complete story

With this Omnibus, you don't have to be left off with a cliffhanger just to have to buy the next one. Over 30 hours for one credit. What is not to like. A college student gets pulled to a fantastic world that has few women and gets great power. love the whole series.

Pretty good with some negative factors.

For one the sexy parts are a bit cringy but not bad. Story is good but i wasn’t on the edge of my seat wait craving to get to the next chapter. I would like some more sprinkles on top of certain information threw out the story. Don’t listen in ear range because their is like 20 sexy parts threw the series. I think the male narrative was perfect for this series. I couldn’t imagine what the female narrative was thinking threw some of her scenes but hey she must of liked it cuz she also was good. Overall good books if u need to make a drive somewhere unless ur going to grandmas house with the family.

Narrator ruined it

The book seems okay, but the overdramatic narration made it impossible to listen to. I listened for about an hour before giving up.

the story is great

the whiny voice that talks just greats at my nerves. when he's not whining the voice performance is pretty good but it's that over exaggerated whining that pisses me off.
