Pretty good for an action plot.

This reminded me of the first Bruce Willis Die Hard movie. Terrorists take over a hotel holding guests hostage. A cop who was in the hotel as a party guest sneaks around causing trouble for the terrorists. Others do heroic things as well.

The ending went a little overboard with excessive talk about families, babies, barbecues, and thanking everyone.

AUDIOBOOK NARRATOR:
Kaleo Griffith was excellent doing general narration and male voices. But he needs to learn how to do women better. His voices for women were weird and strange. Other male narrators do women better.

Narrative mode: 3rd person (my fav).

Die Hard in Denver! Great!

Story: 5 stars, great action, good storyline and characters, Perfect for this genre.
Relationships/ heat: Sizzling Hot, in a loving manner and fun
Narration: 4.5 stars, almost perfect
Overall: 5 stars, worth a credit!

STORY: PC seemed to borrow an idea from the movie Die Hard, and she developed it and wrote it in a masterful manner, integrating the I-team characters perfectly.
The suspense, description of events, twists and drama are great. The story also includes a healthy dose of hot scenes and humor!
Well done, suspenful, hot, and entertaining! I’m a die hard fan of Pamela Clare!

NARRATION: KG reads this entire series in a wonderful voice, and he is able to depict so many different voices, differentiating characters very well. I usually give him 5 stars, but I think the female voices were a bit off this time, so 4.5 stars

Overall, this is a great book, perfect for this genre, you may have to call in sick to listen...!!!

Fantastic! A 10 Star Listen!

I read this book when it first came out and loved it. I never thought there would be an audio version and I was so excited to see that it actually had come out in Audio. And with my favorite narrator, Kaleo Griffith! Due to time constraints, I was never able to do a re-read. I just finished listening and it was fantastic! Now I will be able to do re-listens because I love to listen to books when I work.

So, in a nutshell, you get to meet up with all our favorite people from the I-Team series. There is plenty of action and drama along with some hot and steamy scenes. If you haven't listened to the I-Team series, then I suggest you remedy that. It's a great series and it is one of my favorites! And they are all on audio!

Wow

So I have enjoyed all of the I team series but this one...well there just aren’t words. As usual there was plenty of action and suspense. But the emotional level of this book was off the charts. The interactions between the characters as they faced their fears was so raw. The narrator was phenomenal you felt every emotion in his performance

I was not TEAM MARC until this book. And yeah, I'm fairly certain that this is my favorite of all favorite I Team stories. Erotic interludes that melted my ears, a thrilling/terrifying terrorist attack that had me on the edge of my seat and white knuckling my steering wheel to and from work.

Thank you Kaleo Griffith for bringing my favorite characters to life. Thank you Pamela Clare for creating this world.

Give this a listen. You might like it.

I love this story ,like all the others before this one .. Very entertaining, lots of action

Wow! Pamela Clare out did herself with this story.

Everything I love about the I Team and family all in a Christmas story. It touched my heart in many ways, highlighting the difficult jobs of those who protect and serve.

If you've listened to all the ITeam stories, this is a great recap of all the characters and their relationships. Kaleo Griffith does a fantastic job with all the characters, he is just amazing. Love Holly, she is so badass!

I-team Audio Magic

Kaleo Griffith does his usual stellar job bringing to life ALL the cast in the I-team novella. Dead By Midnight is an action-packed, Die Hard story. All the characters get their moments. But call outs for Holly Andris, now an operative with Cobra International along with her husband Nick, who comes through big time several times. Gabe a.k.a. Spiderman, gets to scale the building as only he can to save the day. Mark Hunter, the former escaped con, is now SWAT team captain at Denver PD and just like he escaped prison in Unlawful Contact, he slips away from the bad guys and becomes a one-man army for a while, clearing the roof so the bad guys can't hold it. (He gets other moments that had me in tears.)

Best moments. Julian reacting to hearing Mark had just been executed by the bad guys and his conversation at the end, their guy talk.

I highly recommend this audio recording.
