Classified
Publisher's Summary
Classified is the first book in the Phoenix Series written by Peggy Hoy. It is a Christian Fiction/FBI Mystery. A special agent with a mottled background, one with OCPD, and a military psychiatrist, meet up in the Phoenix field office as co-workers on assignment to take down a Mexican drug cartel and human trafficker. As special agents Sam Montoya, Amy Spears, and Ranson Hilliard grow in faith in God and each other, they find that there are many more layers to those broad classifications - especially when they break open a cold case file and find out who killed Ranson's brother almost twenty years ago!

Very slow and rather laborious
I appreciate the clean content and clear gospel presentation; however, the story line was very limited. The majority of the story could have been portrayed in one quarter of the book. Very little actually happened in the story. The criminal were found a couple of chapters. The relationships appeared to be an afterthought.

Twists and suspense at every turn.
I found this audiobook extremely interesting. The characters and storyline keep you there! I like how the author connects the Christian aspects into her characters. W.B. Ward is a great narrator! I have already ordered the second book. I can't wait to hear what happens next!

NEW STORY STYLE
While the characters are interesting the story is monologue. it does not flow smoothly as most novels do.
I bought the series, and appreciate the faith content but we're distracted by the plot format.

Excellent
The story kept you listening and wanting to hear what happened next. Christian writers aren't always able to have the right mix of a great message and great story. This author did! I loved the story and felt inspired from it.

Not a gripper
This was really slow getting started. I did not like the reader. It was hard to follow the characters because he didn't distinguish them with his voice. I love the fact that there were Christian characters but overall this book did not hold my interest and I probably won't read anymore by this author.

Sharing the Gospel through Fiction
In today's times it is hard to find good books that honor our Lord. So glad I found this author.
