Publisher's summary

A museum should be a lonely place at night; scary and lonely if one has an active imagination, and finds himself locked inside at night. But what if the things in the museum began to move, and you are trapped inside? This short story of horror, ghostwritten for Hazel Heald by H. P. Lovecraft and narrated by Mike Vendetti, should not be listened to alone and in the dark.

Good story, but a little slow to get going

This one takes its time getting going, but once it does, it doesn't disappoint. The final payoff is suitably Lovecraftian and the concepts are quite fascinating.

My only complaint is with the narrator; he has a very good voice, I think, but doesn't even attempt to differentiate the characters. That's okay, but what bothers me is his pronunciation. He gets exotic words like "Cthulhu" wrong, but also Necronomicon, and regular words like myriad - it's a little distracting.

Too Many Mispronunciations Distract From The Rnjoy

Do you have any additional comments?

The first five minutes of the reading ruined it fir me. I gave up after a string of 9 mispronunciations. As an example, how can anyone read the name 'Necronomicon,' and mangle to into something completely other. It went like that.

The delivery was good enough, but the narrator should have taken the time to check and rehearse the more esoteric words.
