Publisher's summary
Center of the YOUniverse is an out-of-this-world spectacle starring Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski with music, laughter, and (probably) the salvation of humanity from its self-inflicted doom. Unaware of just how brightly the other one shines, Tituss and Jane will attempt the impossible: a double-booking. In a unique blend of song and storytelling, they’ll stop at nothing to upstage each other and steal the spotlight…until they realize the true purpose of being ridiculously attractive and having immeasurable talent: to unite and heal the world. It’s an outrageously fun and weird show full of pop and theatrical duets. A clash of divas and dueling vocals. It’s the show that the world didn’t know it needed until reading this blurb.

Myrna, Leonie, and Chrissy meet every Thursday to sample fine cheeses, to reminisce about their former lives as professors, and lately, to muse about murder. Hilarious, fascinating, and a roller coaster of dizzying, historical what-ifs, Napoleon's Hemorrhoids is a potpourri for serious historians and casual history buffs. In one of Phil Mason's many revelations, you'll learn that Communist jets were two minutes away from opening fire on American planes during the Cuban missile crisis, when they had to turn back as they were running out of fuel. You'll discover that before the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon's painful hemorrhoids prevented him from mounting his horse to survey the battlefield.

“The Heron” is the nickname a big-city accountant has attached to himself in his new home near San Diego, where he’s using the alias to avoid a hit man who may be after him. It seems a former client believes that The Heron has skipped town with several million dollars not his own. Don Winslow’s ensuing, entertaining yarn is by turns twisty, dark, and comical as we observe the delicate dance between the pursuer and the pursued.

Getting paid $80,000 to stay in bed for 13 weeks? That sounds like a dream job for Vanessa, one of 12 participants chosen for a bedrest study. Played by Karla Souza (How to Get Away with Murder), Vanessa is looking forward to earning extra money while putting her troubles—her mom’s death, an unplanned pregnancy, and a falling out with her cousin/best friend Brigid (Zoë Winters of Succession)—on pause. Vanessa quickly realizes, however, that she cannot outrun her problems...especially with her legs beginning to atrophy.

Story
A bonding adventure goes horribly wrong in this gripping story of trust, survival, and motherly instincts. Karla and her stepdaughter Olivia are alone on a remote family camping trip when news of a mysterious outbreak in nearby San Francisco begins to trickle in. With little information to go on, the two women must identify the biggest threat to their safety: the supposedly deadly virus, the stranger who stumbles into their campsite, or each other.

Story
The Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times Critic's Pick that served Broadway "raucous comedy and nonstop pleasure" has made its way home to Audible. Juicy is a queer, Southern college kid already grappling with some serious questions of identity when the ghost of his father shows up in their backyard, demanding that Juicy avenge his murder. But here’s the rub! Revenge doesn’t come easy to Juicy, a sensitive and self-aware young Black man in search of his own happiness and liberation.

Super Charming!
Really enjoyed this. Both Jane & Titus are wonderful performers & singers, and this was so fun. Perhaps I just struggled a bit, but occasionally had a hard time catching everything said into the mic, especially if it was in a low aside. Not the worst thing, for sure, but it did mean that I felt like I kept missing some things.

The Best Frenemy Duo!
I love these two in anything they do and this didn’t disappoint. It was entertaining and lighthearted. Keeps the listening audience engaged with funny sound effects and constant battle for the stage!

Introduced to and fell in love with Tituss & Jane watching the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. This performance didn’t disappoint. Such amazing talent and we need more shows like this on audible
