This pathbreaking book will change the way managers do business and think about corporate opportunities. Management scholar R. Edward Freeman and his colleagues explain why the key to corporate success is to create value for all stakeholders, and they offer a set of concrete principles and techniques to ensure a firm’s survival, reputation, and success.
A great insight on the topic, but the narration was just too fast for me. There is a disconnect between the message and the delivery.
I bought the book because I wanted to understand Stakeholder Theory and how it relates to research that I am doing. the audiobook was dull buy informative.
Would you listen to Managing Stakeholders again? Why?
Freeman was one of the first authors to focus on stakeholders and their impact on organizations' goals. The a idea of managing for stakeholders in opposition to managing stakeholders is a breakthrough. It is not possible to succeed without key stakeholders' support and buy in.
