Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Definitely! anyone who needs a laugh and just wants to hear the life struggles that another goes through this is book is for you! We listened to the audiobook in the car on a road trip with the family

Which character – as performed by Tina Fey – was your favorite?

Sarah Palin!!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes when she talked about juggling the SNL moonlighting job, with 30 Rock, and her child's birthday party and all were important to her. She worked so hard all the time yet maintained her humor and life balance. I found that inspiring!

Any additional comments?

I think Tina Fey is a great writer and I thought she did a great job reading for the audio book as well. I hope she writes another book in the future! Also, I'm a republican conservative and I still loved it so just because she is a hard core lib don't let that stop you. If it does quit being so closed minded! As you will see in this book we are all just people trying to make it in this world and take care of our family while having a few laughs along the way. Love you Tina we think you are awesome!!!!

Did not read the print...love the audio I think you need to hear her life in her voice!

Well it was a Bio but true to Tina Fey's life, comedy and personality...it is hilarious

Witty and Entertaining

Quite engaging. Nice behind the scenes look at the life of a TV writer and actor in the public eye.

Do your thing and don't care if they like it.

Would you consider the audio edition of Bossypants to be better than the print version?

Tiny Fey is an excellent narrator (as is to be expected) which makes this book just that much more entertaining. Hearing the story in her voice adds an extra level of enjoyment. This adaptation to an audiobook was done very well with auditory cues, a visual companion and samples of the clips she references in the book (which means you don't need to take a break to look it up on YouTube).

What other book might you compare Bossypants to and why?

Bossypants is a memoir of a comedian and would reside within that realm. Comparing it to others would be unfair since it is so specific to her life and thoughts.

Have you listened to any of Tina Fey’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first audiobook I have heard her narrate for. She is just as effervescent as she is on SNL and 30 Rock.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me rethink some of the ways that I deal with people and work. She has a unique, informed take on a lot of things and her anecdotes do a great job of illustrating some great life lessons. It was very lighthearted but I think that has a lot to do with the way she has learned to deal with intense situations and that is a pretty great message.

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this to everyone. Tina Fey is smart, strong and (of course) hilarious. Being able to learn from her is a privilege.

Made me smile, giggle, laugh

I loved the spontaneity and openness of Tina’s story. For all her self-deprecating comments and praise for her fellow performers, she’s really the genius. Such a joy to listen to. Think I’ll start again.

Moral: Everything will be alright

Entertaining, lighthearted and yet so relevant and on point you can’t help but appreciate every single chapter. I’m 27, have a good job and a great family and yet this was exactly what I needed.

how do you get the PDFs on your phone?

Tina Fey is awesome and it was great to hear some of the behind the scenes stuff from SNL and 30 Rock Etc but could not find the files with the PDFs on my Android phone and couldn't even find with a Google search how to look them up. Anybody got any ideas?

Tina made the audiobook for sure. If it were read by anyone else it would have NOT worked.
