Inspring

If you could sum up Black Titan in three words, what would they be?

AWESOME!!!
This book is a most read for anybody in business. Its should become a required reading in all college level business classes. I learned so much from Mr. Gaston's story. Sadly, he is never portrayed as a central figure during the Civil Rights and that is a major mistake.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

NO

I’ve always had a driving force inside of me to succeed in order to give back to my community. This book has awakened me

We all at some point need to be reminded of the sacrifices that were made, both seen and unseen that got you to a place of better Opportunity. This book reminds me the WE should never forget to throw back the proverbial rope. The same rope that was handed to US by the Souls of our ancestors.

History of a Black American Millionaire

A very interesting biography. An added value to me was the interwoven history of Alabama through the eyes of an African American. As they say - you don't know what you don't know. I recommend this book to anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of "making it" in America.

True Business Titan

Inspiring story of A.G. Gaston's climb to success. The book starts a little slow, but becomes really fascinating and gives some useful tips for generating wealth.

He was truly an American Titan of his era.

I’ve heard anecdotal bits about Gatson and was curious to learn about his life. It’s remarkable that despite all of the white supremacist barriers that black Americans faced by racist white Americans; his entire family contributed to the building of wealth in their own individual ways. I learned some interesting facts about Gatson and about the businesses he held. His life was nothing short of miraculous, cautious and optimistic. There are many gems in this book.

Great book on the history of America and that of a man

This is a must read if you care about American history. AG Gaston’s life story is intertwined with American history. This story allows the reader to understand how we don’t live on an island of one but we are influenced by everything and everyone around us. We also are influencers of everything and everyone around us. We get to decide if it is good or bad.
