Publisher's summary

Banshees. They’re not ghostly omens of death. Those stories were made up to hide the truth. Banshees are real, they secretly live among mortals, and they’re coming for your soul. I’m here to save you….

I’m Qadira Quinn. As a half-fairy, kick-ass Hunter living with a clan of banshees, you'd think I'd be safe. But when one of our enemies figures out what I am, I’ll have to fight for my life...not to mention the lives of countless mortals.

Our sadistic foe is bored with his mortal-trafficking ring and now he wants to create a superhuman race...using me as his lab rat. I’ll need to end him before he gets that chance.

To top it off, I'm falling for a guy I probably shouldn't, but fated mates are really hard to resist. Especially when he’s a sexy-as-hell, powerful banshee. As the passion between me and the leader of my clan grows, so do my innate abilities.

Abilities that will far exceed anything I'd ever dreamed.

When I gain full control over these stronger powers, anyone who comes after me, or those I love, will be in for a world of hurt.

Great story!

This was a great book! The story was exciting and kept me wanting to listen. I really enjoyed that the author was the narrator. It added a little extra to the characters. I also really love the unique spin on the banshee folklore. Overall, I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves thrilling plots, sexy characters, and lots of action!

Awesome book and narration!

I’m so glad this book is on audible and gives the story even more excitement with the narration. I appreciate and enjoy how the narrator is also the author! It makes the narration more personal. The story is packed with parts to keep me on my toes and the characters are easy to get attached to. Plot twists galore…great engaging book

Flat characters and slow plot

Love the banshee concept but really slow start and story progression (struggled up to chapter 9 hoping it would pick up and get better) the characters remain one dimensional with underwhelming plot premise- Gabriel bad guy does bad things and lukewarm desire by good guys to stop him? Not enough depth and slow roll plot appears deliberate creating lack of interest and boredom rather than anticipation for plot twist or backstory detail. Disappointed
