small town romance

Sally thought she was going to be alone in the world , as her mother was dying from cancer. Her mother told her that her father wasn't really dead, and she should try to find him. Her whole world changes, when she finds out she had a relatives in the small town, Green Springs, Being an adult, will she be welcomed with open arms?
Right outside of town her car broke down. Nolan, the tow truck driver was immediately enamored with her. Being from Chicago, Nolan gives her the nickname "City Girl."
Sally is independent, stubborn, strong willed, not looking for any romantic relationships. But Nolan has something else on his mind. But how is he going to change hers?
I love this small town story with newfound family and friends, .
Lacy Laurel and John Pirhalla narration is phenomenal. Their performance brings all the character to life, by giving each one their voice and personality.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Gripping & Heartfelt

C.A. Miconi pens another captivating and heartfelt story in her “Finding Love in Green Springs” series. It is a wonderful opposites attract small town romance. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. Sally lives in the city, owns a successful business, she was brought up by a single Mom who just lost her battle with cancer. Before she dies she tells Sally that her father is still alive and that she should look for him, she believed her father was deceased. So after her mother passes she takes a DNA test in hopes to track him down. With a successful match she reaches out to a possible relative that leads her to her father. They meet and hit it off, he notices she is skittish and she tells him the attack she suffered while walking to her car. When he asks her to come meet the rest of the family she takes him up on his offer and leaves her business in the capable hands of a new partner. Sally’s car breaks down right outside town and calls for a tow. Nolan owns the garage in Green Springs, he picks up Sally and tows her car to the garage. Nolan, lost his wife to cancer and has not been interested in anyone else since, that was until Sally entered his life. They do not exactly hit it off right away but Nolan is determined to not give up on his city girl. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the fast paced story is nicely plotted with plenty of drama, a touch of angst, lots of heartfelt and emotional moments and a wonderful romance. C.A. Miconi, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride, it was great to catch up with the characters from the first book and great to be in Green Springs again.

🎧📚🎧And for the fabulous narration, Lacy Laurel and John Pirhalla are the perfect cast to bring these characters to life. They did an awesome job portraying the characters, humanizing them, giving each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. Lacy Laurel’s take on Sally was spot on, she took the role and made it her own. John Pirhalla did the same with Nolan’s role. Both were amazing with the secondary characters as well. They are talented narrators and entertaining storytellers, it is a pleasure to listen to their work. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

Super Sweet and Angsty

Be One With Me, my first read by CA Miconi, is a wonderfully written slow burn love story between Sally and Nolan.
What brought the magic and made it creditworthy was the narration by Lacy Laurel and John Pirhalla. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Short Small Town Romance

This is the second book in the Finding Love in Green Springs Series, a Small Town Romance. Sally and Nolan's slow burn romance is interesting. They are opposites attract, and they share an undeniable chemistry. Sally is a lovely city girl. Nolan is a handsome country boy. The storyline is filled with angst, trust issues, and miscommunication. Lacy Laurel and John Pirhalla did a good job with the narration. #TheFlock #PinkFlamingoProductions #AudiobookObsession

Sally and Nolan

I really liked to hear about Sally and Nolan who are key characters in Finding Love In Green Springs series. I fell love with Sally’s character in Be Brave With Me. CA Miconi wrote really believable characters in both of the books of this series and it was great peeking into the characters from book one.

Sally played by Lacy Laurel was portrayed as such a sassy woman who I would love to be friends with. And her finding her father who she believed to be dead was so life changing and heartwarming to see. Wow would that be shocking to discover and I loved that her Dad embraced Sally upon them finding out about each other.

Nolan played by John Pirhalla is a country boy at heart and the accent was amazing at allowing me to fully see his character in this audiobook.

This little town is just the place for this opposite attract couple to bloom.

Sweet Small-Town Romance

Be One With Me by C.A. Miconi is a small-town romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lacy Laurel and John Pirhalla. This is the second book in the Finding Love In Green Springs series.

This is the second book of C.A.’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I really enjoyed the sweet romance that grew between Sally and Nolan. I can’t wait for the next book in the series Finding Love In Green Springs so I can get Barbara Jeanne’s story.

Lacy and John did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you love sweet small-town romances.

it was okay

it's a short slow burn love story I'm glad it was so short because honestly I found myself bored with the story nothing really stood out about the story for me BUT I also prefer bully or dark romance so someone else would probably enjoy it more, the narration was okay not the best

Shorter audiobook

This is the second book I've read/listen to by CA Miconi. I liked the way it was written. Most shorter stories, one must suspend belief in order to believe it could happen. This was written over time, so had time gaps. Nolan and Sally do not meet until nearly half way through. It's a slow burn, one of my favorites. We get the back story for Sally at the beginning. It becomes a friends with benefits because Sally has trust issues. Unfortunately it ends quite abruptly.

John Pirhalla and Lacy Laurel were excellent narrators. John has a smooth deep voice. Lacy has been a favorite narrator for a while. Both performances were excellent.

Book 2 - Finding Love in Green Springs

This is book 2 in Miconi's Finding Love in Green Springs. This is Sally and Nolan's story. Sally is a Chicago girl born and raised and finds she has some small town roots and seeks out her family in small town Green Springs. Nolan is born and raised country boy and never needed to leave his lil town. These two are instantly attracted to each other but clash immediately and so - it seems that their paths have been set to stay at a distance until friendship and then more is established. A sweet romance, good dual narration and I liked the dual point of views. Not a lot of angst - while this was a sweet romance I felt there could have been more substance to their story and character growth. But sweet with a HEA that warms your heart!
