Heartfelt Narration

Anything read by Tara Langella is going to be great. First I’ve heard Tyler Darby and his Mississippi accent was fine, I think he’s from Texas, so close enough. The story is set in Mississippi (where I’m from) - Usually Mississippi accents are atrocious, but not here. Other comments can give you a story synopsis, I’m not good at that. Great narration is most important to me on audiobooks. I will say it was a nice heartfelt contemporary novel about loss and love.

A great small town romance!

I am so lucky to have found this novel by CA Miconi and JB Havens, both new to me authors that I have got to do some more reading/listening of in the very near future! I loved this novel and how well it flowed and created this little town and characters that I found it very hard to deny myself the love for. I was only going to listen to a few chapters in the morning before some errands and ended up not. I had to listen to this novel in one go because I just couldn’t pull myself away. The hardest part of the book was the ending because I just could never get enough of this. I found solace in the fact this is book one of a series and I am so excited to see what other love stories we get from Green Springs.

Meg has been running hard, long, and fast from the past demons of her life when she stumbles into the town of Green Springs and smack dab into the life of Drew. Both of these people have a delicate and sad past that has made them the people they are today. Drew sees the pain in Meg’s eyes the moment he meets her and he wants so badly to help heal the brokenness she feels. He will need her to ‘be brave’ with him and trust him enough to stay and try. But Meg has a deep and long past and trust and bravery are not her strong suit because of it. Will she be able to be brave and stay? Can these two be the pieces they need to put themselves back together? For that and the beautiful story these two have you will have to trust me and one click this novel today! You won’t be sad you took a trip to Green Springs. I can’t wait to go back!

This novel is quick,quirky, and too cute! It’s a beautifully written piece of work about finding yourself and how to become whole again.

Book 1 - Finding Love in Green Springs

This is book 1 in Miconi / Havens' Finding Love in Green Springs series. Our main characters are Meg and Drew. Loss and tragedy are the themes in their lives it seems and as they find each other, they may just find a reason to be brave together and learn to live once again...
A well written, well narrated small town romance. I love the small town feel and the southern aspects found in Green Springs. Nanna is a wonderful supporting character with tenderness and strength. Told in multiple point of view with dual narration I think this brings out the life in our main characters. The storyline is captivating and flows smoothly and will tug on all your heart strings. A beautiful balance of heart break, hope, romance and steamy chemistry - throw in a few laughs and it's all but a perfect read / listen! Looking forward to seeing what's to come next in this sweet lil small town!

A Captivating & Heartfelt Story! Great Narration🎧

I thoroughly enjoyed this small town romance, it is well written and well told with interesting and original storylines that swept me in right from the start, grabbing both my attention and my heart. The characters are realistic and easy to connect with, the two leads, Meg and Drew, each broken in their own way, fighting ghosts and demons of their past. Drew lives in Green Springs, Mississippi a tragic life changing event sent him on a path of destruction, first losing his dreams then trying to fight his demons away. He is finally getting himself back on track, he has his own place in his Nana’s Motel, he helps her out with maintenance and repair, he also works at the local garage. Meg lost all she loved and has left all behind packing what she could fit in her Jeep Cherokee to live a life of a nomad life, traveling the country. She rolls in to Mississippi and stops at the Brewer’s Motel for the night. Nana puts her in a room right next to Drew’s, there first meeting isn’t the most pleasant but I think Nana’s move was a genius move. There was great chemistry between Meg and Drew, they are great together and for each other. I loved how everything plays out in this book, how they open up to each other, how she feels she must do and what he does to support her. This is a great story of Love, loss, healing, and learning to live and love again. Thank you CA Miconi and J.B. Havens for this great story and collaboration as well as the emotional rollercoaster ride.

Tyler Darby and Tara Langella are terrific narrators and voice artists. They bring the characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. They did a great job portraying the characters, you could hear all their emotions projected into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.
