One heck of a ride!!
Received an audio review copy from the author, this is an honest review. Battle Cruiser Elite, narrated gorgeously by Daniel Winski is a grand badass, visceral adventure that grabs you right from the beginning. Once these battle cruiser ships were the great weapons humanity used to make their presence known in the vastness of space; now they serve as expansive cruise ships do the very entitled can experience fake space battle as if it's all a show. For Jay and the rest of the "crew" the show becomes a nightmare straight out of hell as ruthless aliens bent on taking back something sacred in their minds as they'll murder everyone that resists. Now it's an epic war of survival where death and sacrifice are guaranteed; and humanity is a fiery enemy and won't give up.
Highly recommended.

Good space opera
This was a first by this author. Good action and personal interaction. It started a little slow with no hint of what was really going on, but rapidly became more and more intense as the story developed.
The story revolves around a young hacker who feels he has to make a trip on a luxury "military adventure cruise", but we don't know why he feels he has to do this. It develops further when an alien race attacks the humans intent on removing them from space. It is only through sheer determination that the people on board survive.
Decent narration. Enjoyed the book even if shorter than I normally listen to.
