Publisher's Summary

When one rulebook closes...

Thatch and Cassie have finally found their perfect balance of good and sweet, crazy and playful, and, most importantly, hot and insatiable. But what happens when they're faced with a surprise neither of them plotted or schemed for? While Cassie seems to be taking everything in stride, Thatch can't stop himself from worrying about every little thing revolving around the woman he loves. Doing the only thing he can to ease his mind without pushing her away, Thatch proves that once again, when it comes to him and Cass, you'll never see what's coming.

Another playbook begins...

Wes Lancaster has always followed one guideline for play. He never gets involved with anyone working for his professional football team, the New York Mavericks. It hasn't been a hard rule to live by - until Winnie Winslow, the new take-no-shit team physician. She's beautiful, intelligent - and has no problem taking control of every situation. She pisses him off. She turns him on. As tension builds and desire heightens, Wes finds himself wondering how much longer he'll be able to follow his game plan.

Contains mature themes.

Everything was great but Winnie

I love this story and want to continue listening but if I have to endure listening to anymore of whoever narrated for Winnie, I will have to break down and read the book instead. She was trying to sound too classy or snobby or something but her voice always ending with a questioned tone! So annoying! Everything else was great!

ugh. yuck on Maxine Mitchell

I couldn't even get through the 2nd chapter. Maxine Mitchell's narration is awful. I had to quit listening to her horrible butchering of this book but couldn't quit the story. I purchased the paper book to continue the hilarious story of the 3 friends. Really disappointed in the choice for Winnie.

Laugh out loud erotic romance, what could be better

This is my 4th book of Max Monroe, they are amazingly well written, very tastefully done eroticism. Can’t wait to start the next in the series. I will definitely be looking for more of their books.

Must read this Novella to continue the series

As I have stated in my other reviews, if you are reading the Billionaire series, the novellas are really necessary to get the full story of Kline, Thatcher, and Wes. This novella is important because it really is a continuation of Banking the Billionaire and gives the start to Scoring the Billionaire.

There are plenty of giggles from the fun moments of Thatcher and Cassie's antics and there is definitely some hot sex scenes that made me want to fan myself. Plus, we get an insight of Wes and Winnie's book (Scoring the Billionaire, which is my personal favorite). In addition, you will have an opportunity to listen to four different narrators which really brings a story to life.

5 stars and definitely worth the purchase.

Thatch and Cass rock, Georgie sucks

This is a funny add on about Thatch and Cass and intrigue about the next book. Unfortunately it’s not great because if Georgie, her craziness, nagging, and meddling. Cass also manipulates her incessantly and yet she continues to be naive and gossipy. I found her to be even more annoying that the last three books and have officially decided I don’t want to continue this series if she plays any strong role in the next book (which I suspect she might as she works for Wes).

Otherwise I still love Thatch and Cass, although I think towards the end of this book Cass started taking on some Georgie-esque qualities but it suits her personality far better and only impacts Thatch unlike Georgie and her meddling (she does not deserve Kline).

Second Novella

As the second Novella in the series, the crazy continues with Thatch taking the lead. We also get a glimpse into the final couple - Wes and Winnie.

The two pairs of narrators work well together in preparation of the final full book.
