Keeping up

haven't finished, but I mean it's continuing in the primal hunter fashion. I'll leave a more detailed review if needed.
Halfway through book: GOOD
little more than halfway: 20 chapters for 2 fights, but all seems necessary or too good to remove so we keepin' it.


SPOILED WARNING but joke:
deus ex machina isn't deus ex machina when it's a deus. *ba dum ching* *gets a rotten tomato thrown in face*

crazy observation: the goodness rating on this is higher than the one for project hail Mary somehow
4.7 > 4.5 (at time of writing)
I know 14th book and WAY smaller sample size but STILL. 4.5 is basically impossible for the picky people of goodness, let alone 4.7.

It gives you a bit of everything you like and expect from a primal hunter book

Really enjoyed this book. I’m sad I read it so quickly and can’t binge it like I did when I discovered the series.

Jake being Jake

as always Travis Baldree did an excellent job narrating this book.

I enjoyed this book a lot and I found it a great end to the ell hakhaan arc.

very curious how the story will develop further.

Fantastic installment!

I loved getting to hear the culmination of the Jake vs. Ell’Hakan/ Viper vs. Yip arc. Zogarth wrote an amazing story and Travis delivered a fantastic performance as always.

Crazy long fights

Author spent entirely too much of the book on the two big fights, the outcome of both were preordained. He neglected other characters and resulted in a less engaging story.
