very good story. lots of action and plenty of uniqueness to entertain. now I just need the last two books

Great story well worth the credit

Ok so I loved the entire series as a whole. The world building was amazing and the characters were amazing and I had fully intended to follow the author for more books to read. BUT After he lied and stated on his FB page he was releasing books 11 and 12 months ago as they were already written but they have yet to be released…. Total bull!!! He’s released other books in the meantime which is a slap in the face IMO. FINISH THE DANG STORY NOAH!!!! Besides that the sex scenes were like they were written by a 15 year old virgin. Sometime he says c0ck sometimes he says azz but usually he say length or behind. And the MC never goes down on any of his wives until the very last sex scene of the very last book in the last 5 min of book 10. Kinda lame.

What a world building should be

Let’s state the obvious a great bargain 10 books for a single credit. Highly recommend this series and can’t wait for book 11 to come out. This is what a world building story should be like. The mechanics are sound, and the MC slowly progresses and build out out his world. He wouldn’t be a hero without him surrounding himself with beautiful women and saving the day. Unlike other series, this series does not rush the story but paces it at a correct pace and progresses at a steady pace. The MC also has to adapt to this new world and it’s realities without losing himself and his humanity.

things that irritate

the story's rough isekai, and oretty obviously the author doesn't understand the vocabulary of what he's writing about. measurements are all in yards.swords have 'handles' instead of a hilt. the poor narrators must have been cringing over and over while dealing with the poorly constructed sentences. the female narrator's various voices all grate on the nerves, and are ridiculous given the obviously small geographical area of the story's setting. sure, it's fantasy, but it's poorly constructed and expressed fantasy. even the sex is mechanical and prefunctory, and it's supposed to be a harem isekai...no editor would have left this story as it is. that's probably the most frustrating thing about books like this. not many of them are perused by any type of educated editorial process prior to publication. if i had to do it again, i'd skip it.

Constant sex scenes

Just should have written sex story, every other chapter is about sex. Not the book I was looking for.

Mediocre

I've only made it to chapter ten so far and it leaves a lot to be desired. An advisor that knows next to nothing, magic fueled by stones which isn't bad so far but the mechanics are kind of dumb. You have so many charges per stone and can only use certain spells attuned to your soul and not the stone itself? If the magic has to be tuned to be used by a stone why does anyone even need to learn it? Fighting isn't terrible but the sex scenes are lackluster as well. "Oh, you saved me? Let's bang..." So far aside from getting ten books in the Omnibus I am let down. I'll continue listening and if anything changes I'll update the review, but when I got it there wasn't anything less than four stars. Which is either this book hit a spot for those 18 reviewers or the reviews have been padded. Keep a very open mind as you listen to the audio and it's not terrible but overarching and disappointing.
