Now in duet audio, from USA Today Bestselling author Claire Kingsley, the stand-alone small-town/romcom/romantic suspense/Christmas romance you didn’t know you needed.
Handsome, charismatic, and charming, Jensen Lakes is an enigma in a designer suit. But his playboy reputation is a persona—one of many—that he uses in his unique line of work.
A priceless heirloom goes missing right before the holidays, and Jensen is hired to find it. Tracking down the perpetrator will be simple. He’ll be in and out before Santa hits chimneys.
Natalie Thatcher needs a break. She’s a dedicated sister, aunt, and nurse, but her life is no Christmas carol. Between bills, mounting home repairs, and holiday shopping still to be done, most days she feels like a tangled strand of lights.
Jensen follows his quarry to Tilikum, and the Christmas-clad town throws him for a loop. As does Natalie. He enlists her aid—who better to help him navigate the local quirks than the captivating woman next door? Despite their chemistry and sizzling banter, love isn’t on his Christmas list. Or hers.
But as danger mounts, Jensen finds himself in an unexpected position—falling in love with his partner. And when her life is on the line, he’ll risk everything to keep her safe.
And get her home for Christmas.
Author’s Note: A handsome charmer falls hard for a sassy small-town girl. Adventure, witty banter, Christmas coziness, and a holiday happily ever after that will leave your heart full.
Sleigh Bells and Snowstorms can be enjoyed as a stand-alone romance.

Neither is looking for love, but with suspense, Christmas magic, & a little Tilikum charm they find themselves staring straight into the lenses of what could be forever.
I loved the witty banter between these characters. Not just the main players, but also Natalie’s sister, her niece, & the residents of Tilikum. The suspense was just enough to keep me invested, & the Christmas magic had me feeling festive.
Audiobook Review:
Shane East & CJ Bloom…need I say more!? Both are two of my favorites, & it doesn’t matter the character or the story arc, they both capture the story perfectly. This one was no exception.

Shane East does a fantastic job playing Jensen Lakes. He's a dashing brit and brings all the charm and occasional bafflement that the character has. He switches to the American accent appropriately, when needed.
CJ Bloom does a great job as Natalie. She sweet and perky with just that bit of jaded needed to make us believe Natalie wasn't falling for the Jensen charms too fast.
Review of the book:
I love this book so much!!
Not only are we back in Tilikum to see all the quirky town and its squirrel obsessed folks, but we get the playful vibe from the Dirty Martini Running Club series. It was such a great blend for a holiday novel.
Jensen starts off as cocky as we remember. But it’s quickly established as part persona, part truth. He is self aware enough to not be a jerk.
Natalie was such a sweetheart. Life is hard for her right now, but she’s pushing through and making the best of it with her family.
As the story progresses and our leads take chances together, I love the respect they had for each other’s abilities. Neither got too pushy to exclude the other from any tasks. The bad guy was just bad enough for a holiday read. And of course there is a happy ending!
Great addition to the CK world!!
