Publisher's Summary

She'll save Christmas just to spite him....

When a late season hurricane hits Merry, Connecticut, city manager and single dad Noah Yates has to inform the already devastated residents that there won't be a Christmas Festival this year. No festival means no tourism dollars. A disaster of epic proportions for his hometown.

But when home renovation expert slash smoking hot reality TV star Catalina King shows up with a camera crew and a budget big enough to put the town back together again, Noah balks. Hard. The last time Cat was in town she stirred up trouble everywhere she went. (Residents are still talking about the town's first and only bar fight.)

Noah doesn't need a TV diva capitalizing on his town's tragedy or filling his daughter's head with glitz and glam.

Cat is ready and willing to put Merry back in Christmas mode with a holiday special that will leave everyone believing in miracles and get her friends back in the home they love. But there's one big problem standing in her way. And his name is Noah Yates. He's wrong about her and she can't wait to prove it. Ring those jingle bells because it's on.

Great voice, fun story

I love the narrator of this story's voice. She adds appropriate inflection, mood and life to an already good story.

Most dynamic heroine ever

Feisty, strong, smart, capable and determined describes Catalina King. The story is a wonderful Christmas story but it’s a great reminder of a women’s ability to control her environment. Noah is a walking soiled cherished heart who over came neglect to become a responsible caring adult. Cat lights him and sets him free. The audiobook is well acted and voiced and brings the story to life.

Just the Christmas steam I needed!

I adored this story. I need a Christmas book that wasn’t instalove or just over the top. This Christmas book had the perfect build. It is a true enemies to lovers. I adore that built in sexual tension you get with that.

Kat is a badass heroine basically running her own home improvement empire. She always wants to help where needed and use her power in the world to do that. A hurricane sweeps through a sleepy holiday community. She of course tries to make it work where the home improvement show will pay to fix up this town and get it ready for the Christmas season. But before that even happens she is out saving people on a boat in the flooding. On top of all her amazingness she has the spunkiest attitude and sarcastic sense of humor. She immediately bumps heads with the city manager.

Bring in Noah a grumpy cinnamon roll of a single dad. He’s all the broodiness of the world. I instantly wanted to make out with him add in the glasses and this girl is sold. They bump heads from the start and eventually that bumping turns into bumping in other wonderful ways.

Of course we get the cutest Christmas happy ending with the best levels of steam. I absolutely adored this.

Noah and Kat

Love these two, a fun and light enemies to lovers trope. Head strong, no nonsense TV reality star Kat with a heart of gold is determined to rebuild The town of Merry after a hurricane destroyed the town and the City Mgr is opposed to Kats interference and the TV production ruining his beloved town. The sparks fly between them until they both ignite, and now small-town boy falls for the one woman who could take his heart with her if she leaves. There is so much more to this story including Noah's smart and intuitive daughter Sarah. Great job Natalie on bringing the story to life.

Excellent Holiday Romance

Loved The Christmas Fix!

I am obsessed with remodel reality tv so the plot behind this story was right up my alley. Add in the enemies to lovers vibe for this couple and a precocious pre teen and this holiday story was a win for me!

Great Grumpy guy and Can-Do girl.

This is a fun book. The first half is all fiery words and grumpy city manager. I loved it alot. Things change in the second half. As the clock ticks down to the end of the job and the possible end of them. The story seems to concentrate more on them (the togetherness) and brief touches on the job.

I LOVE her name!! It just rolls off the tongue so nicely! Catalina King! Just say it over and over. She is the epitome of a strong woman. She actually impresses me with her drive and devotion. Noah must have been a fun character to write. The grumpy guy who says No all the time. It was nice to see him change as the story evolved. Cat though was like his own Christmas miracle.

Overall this is a good story. I did listen on audio. Natalie Duke did a wonderful job with the narration.

Hallmark with steam!

I loved this book. Although it’s a holiday themed book it would be great any time of the year. It reminded me of a Hallmark movie with some steam! I loved the narration too.

Beautiful Holiday Story

I really enjoyed this beautiful story and I loved the characters! They should turn this into a holiday special for television. I was hesitant with this book because of the length but it was ok. There was a lot of dialogue and not a lot of descriptions of the rooms and outfits etc... the narration was great. She did a great job with all the different characters. I definitely recommend this book. 🎧Audiobook Obsession 💜Sisters Spotlight

Great fun and Christmas too

This is a follow on from Mr Fixer Upper a brilliant enemies to lovers book.

This starts in a similar vein with Cat butting heads against the city manager Noah but then attraction creeps in, they try to hide it but get swamped by desire.

I love that everyone knows what's happening but Cat and Noah think it's a big secret, so many bits made me laugh.

Beautifully read too.

I wonder if there are more about this team...

But Cat is determined to help the town recover for Christmas and won't let Noah stand in her way. a fun uplifting read with some hot and intense scenes. read and enjoy

solid 3.5

enjoyable , entertaining, but probably not memorable. good cast of characters, nice modern storyline. enjoyed chemistry of leads and journey to each other. did find Noah's character a little less fleshed out than Cats which made me not as invested i think. very well narrated. I did jump a bit through the audio version.
