the realism of it all

surprisigly good. had high hopes, was still impressed. great narration. great story writing. great world building and it keeps you immersed.

fantastic book

loved the comradarie, the humor, and the overall writing. I have to say the fast paced nature has been great, and not just in the battles, but also with gearing up, storyline, even the crafting.. somehow the author made crafting fun to listen to. Haven't been this excited about a new series in a long time. keep it up and this will be a series to compete hwfwm or dungeon crawler Carl. Fantastic, absolutely loved it start to finish.

The 10 rel… restarting the apocalypse

Restarting the Apocalypse has a dope premise. Sending two military buddies back in time together is a great twist on the usual regression story, and their trash talking and banter are hilarious. It immediately reminded me of The Ten Realms which makes perfect sense given the author.
However, the book felt like waaaaaaaaay more talking and figuring things out than actual action. There is a ton of world building and logistical setup, and it definitely prioritizes macro level planning over fast paced combat. It’s a solid story, but the pacing makes it a bit of a slow burn. I already have books 2 and 3, but this is a series I’m going to put down for now and just come back to when I'm in the mood for a heavier logistics vibe.

It's good, BUT this isn't what you're thinking it is. This is a series that focuses VERY heavily on world building. It's like playing a top down strategy rpg like Starcraft, but in a writing style. I really like it, others may not.

Pretty good

This book was a very non standard start to what I think is a fascinating world and unique series of circumstances. I look forward to many more books from this author
