I swear the series just gets weirder! (in a good way)

the story throws curveballs left and right. you never know what is happening next. it's weird but in a good way. Meeting all new animals pals and learning more about how the world became chi deprived. can't wait to listen for the next book and all the laughs it will bring.

A trusty escape with pleasant characters and lovely storylines. Can’t wait for book 5. Its a perfect break.

Just another great leg of a long journey

Liked the depth on each character arch and continued world building. Details of seemingly mundane activities like fishing, cooking, eating, flavor, texture of all things fish and food 🍱:) I enjoy the author’s attention to detail. I am obsessed with the narrator. I can’t get enough of the performance with this series. I supplement both this and “he who fights monsters” so I don’t miss the voice as much between new releases from both unrelated series. I appreciate the wisdom woven through the myth. Keep up the great work & I’ll keep consuming every well constructed morsel .

Adorable and heartwarming

This is genuinely one of the most unique and fun series. I’ve listened to. I adore the characters, the narration brings this so alive. But I love this narrator, I’ve listened to almost everything he’s narrated. These books hands-down have gone into my favorites. I’ve already listened to each book multiple times and this one has met the mark. I might be starting it over right now even though I just finished. Big love here. Can’t wait for the next one!

This is an amazing series it’s funny and enjoyable great character building my only complaint is that nothing seems to really challenge Fisher I wish his next fight was more of a struggle not just I can beat it with an attack and get everyone to safety but then I will be out of chi ya know other than that this is an awesome series I love it
