If only it were that easy. Humans are considered one of the weakest sentient races, confined to their patch of land but that hasn't changed their nature as they fight amongst themselves forced to split their sources of power instead of unite for the greater whole. In order to see the entire vast richness of the world, Ajax must battle for his life and respect, gaining levels and forcing the other races to acknowledge his and humanities worth.

Amazing story, too many stat sheets. Female voice actor needs work.

The female voice actor sounds like she's reading from a sheet of paper. It sounds like she needs a microphone. It was the worst part of this performance and nearly had me quitting on it several times also, the stat sheet doesn't need to be a complete stat. Sheet Every time you can cut it down and not take 5 minutes every other chapter.

Great Story but….

Everything about the story was great. The female narrator was absolutely horrible. Every voice she did was not good at all. I found myself zoning out every time a female character talked more than a few minutes. Her accents were horrible. She is one of those narrators that makes you avoid books she’s apart of.

Female voice actor for some weird reason slows down her speech to an annoying degree. Overacting is present here.

Enjoyable Story over all

Overall, I enjoyed Ajax Ascension. The main character was likable and I enjoyed seeing the point of views of other characters in the story. I also enjoy the slow grind as Ajax's character grows. My favorite part had to be when the shadow cat's name became "Fluffy."

The only minor negatives would be the constant reading of Ajax's ability level and some of the voice actors sounded like they were 10 playing a 28 or 40+ year old.
