Stunningly bad
I kept listening, mainly out of a desperate hope that, at some point despite the very truncated and sophomore prose, and the equally uninspired narration, that I would find something in the story to listen to that was worthwhile. Halfway through this particular Audible adventure I gave up. on a personal note, I know where the author grew up, and I was hoping that someone from that desperately desolate place in the California foothills would make it big. But like Tuolumne itself there was nothing worthwhile.
