Better

Better than the 1st one. I did speed up the voice to 1.10 I do want to see what's next with the 3rd book so I will be picking that one up

Good storytelling and character development.

The story is a great listening from the voice cast. Hope they continue to narrate the third part of the story.

confusing system, lack of info

I've listened to the first 2 books, though the narrator has gotten a little better, i still have to listen to this book at 1.15 to 1.2 due to over long pauses. Not sure why the producer has not fixed this.
The story was better in this book than the second. Though i still feel the lack of information about the "system" and the rules is very frustrating. the MC had plenty of time/opportunities to acquire this information but did not, and made decision without adequate information.... And though she got the highest point total, won everything, she was not offered the island????? That's boarding on absurd. Even if it was not her intention to keep it, she still should have gotten the option, and made a decision between it and the blue pill... like Alex had an option.
Some internal inconsistencies. but overall the writer is getting better.
I know it's a hard and grueling/tedious job to get your story right. You can do it :)

It's ok if you are a teenager

Definitely not a literary masterpiece, but I would be ok to recent this to my 13 year old daughter.
The author definitely needs a thesaurus, you can only hear "payload" "treats" so many times before it becomes annoying.
The main character is annoying but her lack of ability to make good sensible decisions does match with an eighteen year old.
