Publisher's summary

An Action-Packed LitRPG Apocalypse!

The elves took everything. Following a bloodied slaughter of her whole race, and struggling to stay alive, she had no choice but to survive on her own. That was until the world changed. Her entire planet; a whole cluster was introduced to the vast universe by The System, or perhaps God. A universe filled with endless beings and civilizations that fought for power and dominance.

After the integration, Blair finds herself in a forest surrounded by unknown beasts, peril lurking, alone. Alone and with nothing but the mentality to survive, she will have to get stronger in this new unforgiving world of numbers and power.

With nothing but the capability to get stronger, her distant dreams of revenge might just become a reality.

Great story

Great story and narration the only negative is that you don’t need to read trough the whole stat sheet every time she levels up and put in a few attribute points. I hope for the next audiobook at least that you could skip the stat sheet so often it just gets annoying in audiobooks if it’s not easy to skip it.

has lots of potential

a story that starts simple but lays the foundations for an intriguing storyline.
there was some confusion near the end, but at the same time it's understandable for a character to be a bit irrational when faced with so much trauma. curious to see where the story goes in the next book.

good story, better series

you can tell this is the first book in a series. Lots of great ideas but the execution mixed with the performance wasn't great. I did end up reading the next book in the series and have enjoyed it a lot. Most of the execution flaws were fixed by the second book.

I think this can be great.

I think this is a good story. I like the world and characters. I think there are occasions where too many descriptive words are used and it causes some disassociation. It doesn't make the story less entertaining but it does disrupt the flow.

Thanks for the chapters, Azrie!

A fantastic litrpg apocalypse novel by Azrie with an unconventional protagonist! The narrator did a fantastic job, and the story was engaging from start to end. Can't wait for the next!

how have I not heard of this book.

this book just appeared one day in my recommended and I'm glad I gave it a try. it has primal hunter, defiance of the fall, and a randidly ghosthound vibe so if you like any of those give this a try. even if you don't like those books id still give it a chance.

Frustratingly angsty MC and idiotic justifications

Just a garbage stat spread and slow story. The story is somehow clunky, slow, and rushed all at once. She is a soft archer who focuses 90% of her stats into vigor(vitality). Wouldn’t not getting hit or hitting harder help someone who can’t take a direct hit no matter what her vigor gets too? Or how about magic, which can do pretty much everything? Or you can do what she does and just rely on plot armor to justify getting what you need instead.

It get really angsty and whiny. There is SOOO much pointless introspection and backtracking. She doesn’t have any real freedom as a character. While listening, it’s clear that the author is forcing tension and indecision to make her situation seem more complicated. Side characters are introduced with little justification to slow the character’s progress and story down. Her motivation is undermined by them and herself. She at one point walks away from a possible power up cause she doesn’t like something she just did that was completely unrelated.

A lot of the inner dialogue is just going in circles mentioning how she had different thoughts on things. Yeah, that happens in real life but sucks when it is a constant source of dialogue in the story. ‘Part of me feels good and right about it but part of me feels bad and wrong about it.’ Yeah, okay got it. Stop meantioning it every two seconds.

It’s get worse, it is so bad how she uses her resources. She just gives up on logic and just stats that her actions are the right ones and her only options when they so clearly aren’t. It’s frustrating and idiotic.

why did you create this

so like I said why did you create this. the main character dislikes a part of her race which piss me off. you should need to be blood thirsty they killed your race your friends your family they killed everyone you care about. your character is not angry filled with hate or wrath. also the ai is annoying and doesn't do it job. and then thier is the therapy bullshit people keep putting in these books. it's not needed

Incorrect word usage and idioms-

I think the title explains the issue I have with the book. Maybe it was deliberate or translated? Either way the book is very hard to understand with frequent improper grammar and word choice.

Boring and weird

I don’t know if it’s the author or the narrator but the MC sounds so monotone and bland that might have been what the author was trying to convey in her characterization I could’ve just tried move past that but another character the AI helper was so cute and chipper (really hated listening to it) I can only think the author wanted them to balance each other out but it just turn into a cringey mess
