Great narration

This story fell flat for me and I was so lost in the story. There seemed to be so much extra that I didn’t need in the story.

The narration was excellent and it helped me to get through the story.

no plot. no back story. no explanation

No real understanding of what or why things are happening. No real cliffhanger, just another twist with no explanation. Want be reading the rest.

confusing. unlikable heroine.

our MC has so many issues it was almost uncomfortable when someone tried to reach out and help her. she would have grown up thoughts one second, then do the most childish, borderline feral action in the next. great world building, but was so overshadowed by the prickly dislike of almost EVERYTHING and everyone ( except like three people.)the mc had. i get it. past trauma. i get it. moving forward? meh.

Her writing

I love her writing and style and it’s so good… But I wasn’t able to finish the book because honestly the relationship between her and riordan was just too weird and felt too wrong to me…

Sloooow start, but still good

After reading "When The Moon Hatched" I needed MORE. So I came and found to bleed a crystal balloon. Honestly it's not as good (yet?) but still a solid four. It does take about 2/3 of the book before it starts getting particularly good. But I'm still excited to start the next one. Fantastic narration btw
