Couldn’t finish

Writing was not up to my level and couldn’t stand the male actors voice. Lots of repetition, slow, cliche characters. I liked that the vampires had wings that is about it. It came highly recommended so I really tried to like it but it fell flat instantly for me.

great storytelling, It kept my interest which is hard to do with my ADHD. Only thing I don't like is the cliff hanger that was left. ☺️ But can't wait for the next one!

Ehh…super corney

This was hyped up on tic tok so I got the audible version. It was hard to get through. I believe they chose the wrong narrators. This may have been better to read instead of listen to. I feel like the story was ok but the delivery of the story was sub-par. And if you want spice…don’t bother. Lol there’s like none.

Not sure what to say

So I don’t want to say it was a bad book because I enjoyed it. There were parts where I couldn’t walk away. However, I won’t be reading/listening to any more of the series. I feel like the story is a stand alone, that the story started to feel like the other hundred books out. I feel like the beginning and even the middle it had such great potential but it fell off for me. Seemed like there was so much filler if that makes any sense at all. I’m glad I read it I would probably recommend the first book but again it fell flat

This will be a DNF for me. I hate when the inner monologue takes over the majority of the story. 6 chapters in and i literally can’t stand the FMC. She’s so whiny it’s almost criminal tbh. Will be returning immediately.

i really tried

I hate giving reviews like this. This is definitely a DNF for me. The writing feels halted and doesn't flow. There is a lot of redundancy and it feels like every other vampire store every written. She even recycled names from another famous series. I still had almost 9 hours left in the audio and I just can't do it any more.
