Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! good overall

I loved hearing Evan's voice!

Another great story by one of my favorite authors writing as Brit DeMille. John Lane was amazing as Evan! I read the book when it was released and loved it. When the Audible version was released I was so excited to revisit the story and hear Evan's sexy Russian tinged British accent. I was not disapointed!! I was listening to it at work and had to stop, it was so hot!!!
In Crushed we get to follow a new hockey team, the Vegas Crush, and their race to the Stanley Cup. The story centers on Evan one of the star players, and Holly the new social media manager. Their chemistry is instant and hot. Evan pursues Holly, but the teams no fraternization policy is holding her back. But don't worry, the Evan, Holly and the team definitely get their HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed Crushed (I listened it in 1 day), and can't wait for Georg's and Pam's story in Sin Shot.

I loved reading Evan, now I LOVE hear him

The story is great; fun, dynamic, sassy, but listening to it ... is incredible.
I love that, just as it's written, it's in two voices, he and she, that there is that change of voice. It's the first book that I listen a book narrated by John Lane and now he has become one of my favorites, he has a very sensual voice, I liked how he did the interactions between the dialogues and I laughed a lot when he had to do the interaction with the female voice, it was incredible. Something that this story has are the little overtones of Russian that can be seen throughout the book, which was incredibly hot. (I know, are minimal but OMG!!!)
I love hockey romance stories, so this one is one of my favorites all the time, Evan is sooo cute despite being a huge hockey playe, and the chemistry between the two main characters is so natural that it catches you in their crazy and funny story
I had listen Mackenzie Cartwright before and I really like the timbre of her voice, very well modulated
They both did an incredible job with this book, a fluid rhythm and a very clean modulation

Crushed

I started this audible series out of order and it did not effect anything. It would help to start with book one just to get the full effect of the series. I have not read or listed to a lot of sport romance. I am hooked on this series and have truly enjoyed it. The narrators did an amazing job.

I may just be a hockey Fan Now

I know nothing about hockey a bit like Holly but I know what I like in a romance and Crushed had everything I like. Evan....very nice...good moves....very good moves. Holly loved her from the moment I met her, she made me laugh and frown and it had that slow burn that keeps us on the edge of our seats just waiting and waiting. The attraction between Evan the 'player' and Holly the girl that's been hurt before is inevitable. They are so busy trying to deny it and keep it under wraps that they don't realise they are falling for each other until they do. All the characters were entertaining and I liked the way the story flowed. It read the way I like my lighter romances too. Perfect for a summers day or winter afternoon. I can't wait to see what Georg gets up to in Sin Shot.

Sweet!

Loved the story line! The characters were really well developed and thought out. I loved the antagonism between the reporter and the social media reporter but I wanted more fight from them. I wanted her to fight for her man! She did but not until she got really mad! Great listen!
