Franklin Horton writes the most amazing characters! Each series and each book pulls the reader in to that world of excitement. I have read every book he has published and have never been disappointed.

Kevin Pierce is a fantastic narrator who brings these characters to life!

Master of story tellers

I've got every Franklin Horton book he's written that I know of.. except maybe his sappy love stories written under a pen name. j/k. Great story. Spoiler maybe alert- Still wondering if Raegis and Barb are going to get together some day, they'd be a great couple and who else would get the MMs blessing.

Horton I'd doing okay but Mad Mick is done

it was good but not great. I have every Horton book. I equate this 2nd in series to last of Borrowed World....it has run its course. Pierce narration is the saving grace.

book 2 was just as good, if not better, than book 1. I have loved everything by this author that I have so far read (which it's everything currently published except 1).

I hate that these books are so short but they are worth the credit for sure.
