Excellent!

The story, the attention to detail, and the everything about it kept me wanting to continue listening. Of course narration by the great Ray Porter always helps but this was an exceptional book. Hope there’s more to come!

Great Story

First of all, Ray Porter is amazing. Secondly, it’s really good to have a Christian author able to write about this subject that implements their beliefs during austere situations. The story is great and I hope this is the first in a long list of books from Chad and Andrew.

Loved the story. Narrator was good as usual. I liked that the story was great, riveting, realistic and no foul language. Finally someone that doesn't need to add a lot of gratuitous foul language thinking that is required for a riveting story. Semper fi Marine. I can't wait for book 2.

Great plot line; solidly Christian

As a Christian who loves books about characters who are tasked with dangerous solo-opp missions, this novel ranks among the best I've ever read. For me, these authors make a great duo, and an alert reader can tell that they do their homework. Each character is portrayed well, and I thought that the villains were well disguised. Foster is a man with strong integrity, high morals, and deep commitment, and his family dynamics were portrayed to perfection. Further, I learned several facts about Iran that truly surprised me, and I identified well with the asset foster made there. Though the book has exciting action scenes, it centers around Foster's acumen in implementing well plan strategies an effective problem – solving. As a southern-Louisiana Cajun, I appreciate the link to the Cajun heartland as well as to Mr. Porter's excellent performance in impersonating a Cajun man. Most importantly, the authors do a superb job in Incorporating Christian realities into real-world challenges. I also enjoyed the great teamwork and brotherhood from unexpected sources. From the jump, I found the book exciting, suspenseful, and riveting, with a roller coaster ride ending. I am greatly anticipating reading more books in this series.
