When the power grid fails, what will you do to survive?
After an EMP obliterates the nation's electrical grid on New Year's Eve, it's not long before society unravels and panic ensues. As the lights go out and silence spreads over the city that never sleeps, four ordinary strangers - a bike messenger, a homeless person, a support rep, and an ex-convict - must forge a connection in order to stay alive.
When they realize the danger is far greater than they expected, they must embark on a perilous journey out of the city.
Days of Panic is book one of an EMP post-apocalyptic survival thriller series. It's a powerful, action-packed story about the ones we leave behind and the risks we must take to survive.

Good story in Gendre.

People will be killing each other in the future regardless of catalyst. Preparedness of one family more expensive than the average family could do; still interesting. When a God ordained end of mankind event comes, guns will not protect people.
I will be getting the sequel and also the Final Impact novel advertised at the end of this book for entertainment only; any doable prepping ideas a bonus, although I am not expecting any useable ideas.
Entertaining

I've read quite a few dystopian books over the last year, I find it an interesting genre, and this is one of the better books I've read. The use of EMP is well done, it's interesting to see how quickly society shifts and how different people react.
The characters are a stand out in this book, they're such a wide range of people and each was easy to connect with. They could use some more development but the key in this book was what society and this was well balanced.
The narration was well done, the delivery was well matched to the story line and the character voices were distinct and identifiable.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

Good action - kept me interested enough to want to get the next one.
Not everyone is in a panic

Reminiscent of After Sundown by Linda Howard, which was a more positive take. And The End Of Days series by John Birmingham. which was much fresher and really well done.
