Lost
You'd think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you'd be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet.

And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me....

I have heard so many good things about this series but since I'm not a huge sci-fi/paranormal romance reader, I was reluctant to start it. I am so glad I finally did. I can't wait to read the next story in the series.
I was able to read the story and listen to the audiobook book. The narrators were such a pleasure to listen to. Hollie Jackson made a refreshing Georgie and Mason Lloyd was a seriously alpha voice for Vektal.
Entertaining

I will say about the lead female, I found her annoying referring to the tribe of natives as "barbarians" and "aliens" as well as her utter lack of survival skills. I don't think she really understands what "alien" means; she and the ladies are the foreign aliens. It makes her sound ignorant and insulting. It's like going to Mexico and calling Mexicans "aliens" or "immigrants". That's just dumb. The whole time I kept thinking, "You. You're the alien. You're the barbarian who literally smells like shit and can't find your ass from your elbow."
And if she's from Florida and was like "I'm good with crocodiles" then why such ignorance at the lake? She gets so close that native guy has to rescue her. Girl, if you're going to a new lake and you don't know the environment, why would get so close to the edge? Earth has a ton of predators; this isn't new for our species.
Maybe it's the author's way of comparing the softness of humans to the more primitive inhabitants.
I'm hoping the 2nd book's lead will be a bit more bearable. Otherwise, this was a really enjoyable listen.
Fun alien romance
