Publisher's Summary

It should have been a one-night stand.

I never intended to seduce Taushen, but things happened. I don't dwell on the past and while it was great, I'm not looking for a relationship. Of course, try telling that to Taushen. The big blue alien's in love after one night, and it's making things darn awkward. We've got bigger problems than whether or not I'm his woman, like the "cargo" of the spaceship that landed here.

But Taushen's not giving up. He thinks I'm his mate.

And he'll do anything to keep me.

Contains mature themes.

Love this series!

I have read the 15 book ice planet series and loved all of them. I have favorites, Liz in book two is outrageous. Maddie and Hassein were very fun in book eight. The stories were good, the sex was good and the characters were enjoyable. I would recommend this series to anyone looking for some easy listening reads. The blue guys are hilarious! Mandy Duncan

This series is soo good, and in this book there's a grown up Taushen and see his relationship develop and the struggles of this village. Highly recommended.

Hollie Jackson grrr

It’s so frustrating to rate narration when there are two narrators. One is great. Mason Lloyd has done a fabulous job with this series, I could listen to him all day. Hollie Jackson is really hit and miss with me. I don’t like her voice ever, but the past few books have been fine. But this book sounded like the earlier books to me. Where she does this high pitches nasally whiney voice. I loathe it. It’s so much easier for me to listen to these books while I work, but sometimes this narrator ruins the story for me. I’ve been waiting for Taushen’s story. The poor guy kept getting past over. His personality changed from eager to moody over the course of the series. Unfortunately he ended up with Brooke. I didn’t care for Brooke so much. Part of it was the narration and part of it was just her. I thought she was a bit self absorbed and a bit of a user. By the end of the book she didn’t bother me so much but she was definitely not my favorite out of all the women.

Like ending up with your one night stand

I know this is a romance series involving human females getting together with big blue suede aliens and “realistic” doesn’t necessarily get measured the same as other books. But, plot and dialogue still needs to have some logical flow to avoid becoming cartoonish. This storyline starts with a very contrived situation involving bad aliens to get Brooke and Taushen together. I’m not really fond of “the devil made me do it” scenarios where women only have sex because of some “not my fault” external factor like drugs or bad aliens. The lack of choice just isn’t sexy to me. And yes, I realize that’s a bit contradictory because the central premise in every book in this series involves a symbiotic parasite resonating between two people, signaling them as perfect mates. After they get together, Brooke rather heartlessly brushes Taushen off. I felt bad for Taushen and didn’t care for Brooke, so when they do get back together, it didn’t make for as fun of a time as other books in this series. There are almost twenty books in this series. The first ones were great. This book is number 15 and it shows. Not the worst of the series, but definitely middle of the pack. I waited for a sale rather than spend a full credit- at that price, it was worth it.

Another good instalment in the series.

This is book 15 in the ICE PLANET BARBARIAN SERIES and while each story stands alone, I recommend they be read in order. Slavers disembark from a spaceship and capture beloved members of the Sa-Khui tribe including alien men, human women, and children. Taushen and Brooke are among the abductees. Their experience while kidnapped is unique and very well described. It is the catalyst for their animosity after they are rescued and leads to a delicious enemies to lovers feel to the story. Taushen is one of the few males in the Sa-Khui tribe who remains unmated even though multiple women have joined his community. He is part desperation, part innocence, part lonely. His verbal tussles with Brooke are the fuel that flames their romance. Taushen expresses himself to Brooke in a way that is heartfelt and beautiful – I was very moved. It was a highlight of the story for me. I enjoyed experiencing their love story. I am loving this series. It has been a welcome and unexpected boost to my romance listening enjoyment. Not a dull moment. Where to next? Audible narrators Hollie Jackson and Mason Lloyd do a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. I recommend this series.

Loving the big blue sexy guys.!!🔥🔥🔥❤❤

I love Mason and Hollie Jackson in this series. I started the series late around book 5 because I was looking for something different and sexy. I was not disappointed. I went back to book one thankfully because of Audible Escape so I am up to date on the series. Now when a new book comes out I absolutely don't mind using a credit. Great stories in each book focusing on the blue guy and female human. You can listen and be entertained and enjoy funny story lines, cute and sweet characters and lots of sexiness, along with aliens. Mason Lloyd I love you even more in this series.

***Ba'brooke***

Ok I have to be honest Brooke isn't one if my favourite human, the way she treated Taushen is mean but she redeemed herself in the end. Hollie and Mason are both brilliant in their narratives. Thank you guys.

Love Story

I love the whole series! Fantastic world building that describes how stranded modern women integrate into a tribal culture of tall, hot, and build, matter of fact aliens - all wrapped up with a steamy sexy sweet romance. The characters are all unique throughout the whole series. Some books have more action then others, which focus more on tribal life and personal struggles. I can't even pick one book as my favourite - I'm afraid you'll have to read them all including the spin off series 'Ice Home'. Fantastic male/ female narrators for the audiobook version too.
