A nice little blast from the past books from this series, each one about 1.5 hours. Love the narrators.

1.5. Vektal & Georgie - Georgie needs to put her co-abductees to rest. So they go on a little trip to the old ship.
2.5. Raahosh & Liz - Liz and Raahosh become closer even with bad advice from others.
3.5. Aehako & Kira - Personality switches. Wish it would have added the scene with Kira’s gift.
4.5. Rukh & Harlow - First time we see life on the beach.

I love these books of the ice planet and the ice home Corsair Brothers books the risdaverse and the firewood dragons book I listened to them on Audible Would love to have the whole entire series of all these books they are great she is a beautiful and lovely writer love love everything she writes keep up the good work

Ice Planet Honeymoon

I enjoyed this look into the lives of the first four ladies we met at the beginning of the series of Ice Planet Barbarians. I enjoyed a peak into their lives after their resonance to their mates. I look forward to listening to more books from Ruby Dixon.

This is a compilation of the further love stories of Georgie and Vek’tal, Liz and Rahosh, Rukh and Harlow and Kira and Aihako.
The women tell their blue mates about honeymoons and of course, they’re all over that idea.
You know already that the narrators are among the best on Audible, so like always with these two, their performance rocks.
There’s the usual passion, freezing snow, tons of humor, a little danger. The world building by Ruby Dixon is A+, and the people she’s created for her IPB series seem like real people!
I want ALL THE BOOKS! Please, Audible, catch up and record the rest of Dixon’s stories!

I am a Ruby Dixon fan and stalk her audiobooks, always a good investment to pre-order.

A lot of repeat from previous books.

Too much repeat from prior books. Love the story line just seemed to be a lot of mating description and not as much original content.

Cute stories with fave characters from the series. It’s adorable following them as they navigate their relationships and new roles.

Ruby hits another home run. These are so cute and endearing and I love the epilogue of a honeymoon for each story as it added great detail especially closing the loop on the original three women who didn't make it. In addition, I can't say enough about Holly Jackson and Mason Lloyd. In my mind those two narrators are the dynamic duo and the favorite all-time narrators on Audible. Holly has a great knack for acting through the different female voices. I can tell just from one line which character is speaking because Holly has done a great job giving them each their own personality without being overly dramatic or resorting to cliched stereotypes. Mason could read the dictionary and I'd listen as I just love his voice and he really brings me into the story making me forget the world and stay wrapped up in the narrative.

4 Short Stories of First 4 Couples 3.5

This contains what is essentially books 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5. I would listen to each one after finishing the volume it was connected to. So that means we get a story of the different couples in the following order: Vektal & Georgie, Raahosh & Liz, Aehako & Kira, Rukh & Harlow. Each of these are character building in small ways and only the last story is a jump back in time rather than a continuation of where the story ended. It is interesting to me how Georgie continues to develop as initially she was brought forward as the strong one in the group I find her incredibly conflict avoidant and feels as the leader better to not have difficult conversations and that it is better to withhold information from the group. Liz and Raahosh nothing really stand out. Aehako it was interesting to see his character normally very easy going struggling with impending fatherhood. Rukh and Harlow was interesting seeing some of their earlier struggles in being a couple together in the wilderness. Stories 3 and 4 are better than 1 and 2 in my opinion and if you chose not to listen to these you would not be missing much or be lost in any stories. They feel more like flavor text than necessary information. But fast fun listen none the less. The pacing is a little slower and feels more relaxed, spring break story. Again these felt more take or it leave it, steamy scenes were the best in the final story but overall this did not engage me to the same degree as the full books did.
