Love the Narration of Mr. Sinister aka James Deverell! Not my cup of tea, but I was bound by its grip!

I was about to be pissed with how it ended, but was pleasantly surprised! that's a bit morbid but I'm a sucker for both revenge gone right and Mr Deverell's voice!

Riveting, a conquest of literature and narration.

Listening to the narrator, James Deverell, speaking is like hearing for the first time.

His accent and enunciation capture the ear and embolden the minds eye to truly envision the story being unfolded before you.

I highly recommend downloading and treating yourself and your senses to a fantastical story.

Highly enjoyable story and narration

I enjoyed the story quite a bit (though I’m not usually a fan or horror stories). There were times where it seemed that the author refused to use any fewer than four adjectives for each noun in the story, but it never became cumbersome. It was just highly detailed. I think this was what helped me enjoy the story more than I usually do, because I was better able to visualize the world of Punch.

As for the narration, I really liked the performance. The pacing was perfect for the highly detailed story. I have moments when listening to audiobooks that I feel like some of the descriptions turn into a jumbled mess that I can’t follow. I’m assuming it’s because I’m always driving when I listen to them, and I’m not paying 100% attention. This was paced well enough that I didn’t really have that issue.

Overall, this is an excellent audiobook.

Great Narration

The book did a great job developing the character and keeping the suspense.

James did a wonderful job narrating. A lot of the suspense was from his vocal inflections, and he kept me wanting to listen more. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and I hope to hear more from the narrator soon.

Awesome book, great listen

Been following this guy on his YouTube channel for a while now, great to see/hear his first full audiobook.

I think his voice and tone suits this genre very well and I look forward to him reading more books

Revenge leaves behind Ruin

A good revenge story showing the carnage that can be left behind when evil is done until a good person embraces that evil.

Good little horror story, gilded by the narrator

Punch was an enjoyable horror story. I've read a lot of content in this genre and it's easily better than most. What really stands out to me is the narrator. James Deverell is one to watch (listen for?) in this realm. I'm excited to see what he works on next.

Amazing Narrator

This story was very entertaining in itself, but the real experience was the narration. James did such a good job making her characters seem so real and different with his inflections and accents.
