We do a lot of indie promoting at work and honestly I knew nothing about it - couldn't even tell you what indie meant. This book was suggested to me and gave me a good amount of insight into the indie world. I'm not musical but it's given me a new respect for the artists we work with and how hard their job is. It seems like there are plenty of good tips in here and it gives clear objectives for anyone looking to get into this industry. It's pretty simply written so even I can understand the terms even though I previously knew pretty much nothing about music production.

    "AWESOME BOOK"

This is a more seasoned release of the book such a variety of things would have changed a little as to the web references and innovation when all is said in done however in the event that you can make those deductions yourself simply ahead and bring a shot with this more established form.

The wheel isn't rethought with each new auto and neither ought to the essential strides to shaping a well working record name. This book makes them move quick

    "Super Clear, Super Useful."

Being a great band is about more than good music, it's about putting on an unforgettable show. Don't be mistaken though, this book is only for people who are really serious about making their shows engaging and going pro.

If you just want to be a "garage band", you probably don't need this. All I can say is I wish someone had given this to me back when I first started playing professionally. Five Stars - fantastic read.

"This book will be very useful for young musicians"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    Yes

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Indie Artist Takeover?

I've been singing here and there, not too consistent, but after this, itlistening seems like it can be doable for me. In my current situation, I have a full-time job (to pay the bills), and sometimes, when I have free time, I post music here and there.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    I laughed some times

    Any additional comments?

Nothing big, but I wanted to get more involved in the industry and this book had helped me greatly. I didn't know where to start, however, this book was my guidance to getting a kickstart into my career. I definitely recommend this book whoever wants to start pursuing their dreams

    "AMAZING BOOK"

There are lots of kids today making videos of themselves singing in YouTube or post it on their social accounts. Sometimes, they also make covers of popular and classic songs and they really sound good and sometimes better than the original. Those kids came to mind when I saw this book. I saw on my news feed last time about a certain artist not able to make music because of his manager holding her up or something. This book made me understand it more. A very interesting listen.
