Acerca de esta escucha
Aqua Therapy for Lipedema and Lymphedema shares the personal story of a woman who has lipedema and lymphedema and how they have used exercise in the water to feel good and move lymphatic fluid in her body to reduce swelling and pain. Many exercises are difficult for women with these conditions, as mobility limitations, hypermobility, and joint pain often go hand in hand with lipedema. However, being in water creates a sense of freedom of movement and can enhance mental and physical health.
Learn how Susan and other women make it work, including specific techniques in the water to modify exercises, sample workout routines, what to wear to feel confident in a pool, and what kinds of supplies might be helpful! The book is full of pictures of a real lipedema patient performing and demonstrating the exercises.
Written by Susan O'Hara, who is not only a lipo-lipedema patient but an active social media influencer who shares products, ideas, and information about lipedema in her LegsLikeMine.com site and through the LegsLikeMine social media presences.
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Based on 20 years of investigative reporting and interviews with 100 practicing physicians who embrace the keto lifetstyle as the best prescription for their patients' health, Taubes' book puts the ketogenic diet movement in the necessary historical and scientific perspective. It makes clear the vital misconceptions in how we've come to think about obesity and diet (no, people do not become fat simply because they eat too much; hormones play the critical role) and uses the collected clinical experience of the medical community to provide essential practical advice.
