Extensive Agile Project Management audio

Need a book to understand Agile and what it can do. Think this is one of the best out there. Comprehensive enough to be understood in spite of the technical terms. I don’t mind investing my fortunes and time in it if it means increased performance visibility and project predictability.

Quite a good one.

The narrator is also good, too. His diction doesn't constantly shift, unlike some I knew.

Mixed Bag, but helpful nonetheless

Very basic, but helpful. Could've probably been half the length. A lot of filler for a short book. Skip to the sections about learning and tracking. Here's my summary:

Predict and plan (traditional) versus sense and respond (agile)
Team roles and responsibilities

Planning Agile Steps
• Product vision
• Product roadmap (timelines, iterative)
• Releases (deliverables)
• Sprints planning (iterations)
• Daily scrum (15 minutes) - roadblocks, new info, completed and outstanding work)
• Sprint review
• Sprint retrospective- lessons learned

Tracking progress
• Vision statement
• Roadmap (project plan)
• Backlog (checklist of what's due)
• Release plan
• Increments (lessons learned at end of each sprint)

From an excellent author.

I dreamed of possessing the PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner certification and I decided to make this audio book my formal reviewer. I like the audio book form because of its versatility. I get to listen to it even when I am on the road. It has impressed me much that I decided to consult on this book alone.
