Good second series book

A good continuation from Academy of Shifters Book 1. We get to see the love-hate relationship completely bloom, betrayal, and a little more explanation of what happened to the twin brother. The ending is pretty abrupt, but it’s a well-written cliffhanger ending.

The narration by Brittany Goodwin was done just as well as in book 1. I look forward to hearing her narrate book 3, if/when it gets produced.

Great book and Wonderful audiobook

I have really enjoyed this book series so far and it is written beautifully by Marisa Claire. I sometimes worry about the audiobooks because the person reading the book does not portray the characters right but in this case I didn’t need to worry. Brittany Goodwin does a masterful job of bringing the characters to life for this series. Highly recommended!

Book 2 in a Paranormal Mystery Academy Series

This is not a standalone, but book 2 in a paranormal series that needs to be read in order. There is no recap, instead the story picks up just a few weeks after the end of the first book and we are thrown right back into the action.

I feel like this was a slower story pace-wise from the last book Up until the craziness of the last few chapters, that is!). In book 1 we were thrown into the world, a whirlwind of action and world building with no pause until the story ended. This book took a slower pace, getting into more character development and world building, filling in all the holes that were missing. And creating even more to the mystery, giving me just enough hints to completely hooked and then leaving me hanging with a shocking ending! I need the next book now...but I kind of want to wait until it is available on audio since I love the audiobook.

I love this narrator. I listened to her bring Remy to life in the first book and then again in this one and I think she is just about the perfect voice. The narrator has a voice for all the characters so there was never any doubt who was speaking. This was a fun listen and I hope I get the chance to listen to the rest of the books in this series.

Great paranormal story

I enjoyed this paranormal story. 2nd in series. I haven't read 1st one and it alluded to parts of it, but did pretty good explaining so you weren't lost. Now I need to read the 1st one.

Mystery unfolding

Remi's time at the Gladwell Academy brings her closer to finding out the mystery of what happened with her brother, which is even more horrible than she could have ever imagined. Meanwhile, she and Laith finally share how they really feel about one another.

Love Love it

Loved it! I like the sometimes complicated characters personalities. The plot twists and the suspense as it unfolds.

Such a good continuation

I really enjoyed this story. Laith and Remi are so adorable. I love these two so much. They are so adorable and cute. A few things get maybe answered but there are a lot of new things to figure out. A lot of new mysteries are popping up for Remi to try to figure out. There is more about Remi’s brother and the tooth and claw society, I need the next book and want to know more about all of this and what is going on.

A Paranormal Adventure

I absolutely love the relationship between Remy and Laith . I am looking forward to the next book in the series and can't wait for the answers that are eating me up at night . Goodwin gave a good performance and brought the characters to life .

I love Remi and Laith’s relationship. A few questions are answered, but leaves you with more. Looking forward to book 3. The narrator did a great job with each character.
