Werewolves are hunting me.

Excellent

The two main characters were always being antagonistic and this was written so well that I, as the listener, really wish I could jump into the middle of the argument and straighten some people out. I love stories that get me emotionally committed. There was also murder, mystery, and mayhem. The narrators acted the performance instead of just reading. I love it when I forget that the narrators are not telling their own story.

Addicting listen!

The storyline and narrators really did a wonderful job at capturing my attention till the very end. I really enjoyed the dual POV and both narrators are great!! I felt like both narrators voices were perfect for Savannah and Jaxson. The variety of tones and inflections were great and easy to follow along.
Find out what happens in a magical town, Magic Side where many supernaturals live including one sexy broody alpha and sorcerers. Buckle in for the action and magical ride.

Better than I expected

Based on some of the negative reviews, I expected this to be a background noise kind of listen. You know, one you don’t really pay attention to or enjoy but just use to pass the time. I was honestly and pleasantly surprised.
It’s definitely a slow burn. There are some obvious foreshadowing scenes letting you know where the series is going. Not a WHOKE lot of world building or background but I think that is to the benefit of the story. It lets you sink into it without being overwhelmed with fantasy and lore.
It’s interesting not really knowing who the antagonist is throughout the book. For every character, that answer is different, and it seems like there are levels of good and bad- and the reader is wading through it to figure it out along with the MC.
I enjoy her off kilter humor, and an almost 90s verbiage/ sense of the world around her. It’s refreshing.
If I have a complaint, it’s only that the 2 narrators pronounce common words amongst themselves differently. Like names and places. Independently of each other, both are great and a good fit for their characters. I just with they had a chance to communicate with each other beforehand and agree on enunciation/pronunciation.

The story was interesting

The male reader has a “noire” sound that didn’t really match the tone of the story. That is really the only negative.
