A vengeful darkness....

Gathers in the night....

One threat has been destroyed - another grows stronger. Even though Jack and the teams have won a major confrontation, their lives still hang by a thread. There are decisions to be made, and ones that have never been more critical.

Leonard continues to try to keep his crew together after being hit by another soul-shattering blow. They've only recently become aware of this new world, and it doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon as they silently plunge through the Pacific, looking for answers Leonard knows they may never find.

Michael knows he can no longer stand idle and wait as he feels thousands of his kind disappear from his mind night after night. The weight of the survival of his kind weighs heavily on his shoulders and he pushes forward to end the threats to their existence.

The new world must find its balance....

And the scales are about to tip....

Say it ain't so!

It was a long expensive ride. While not a fan of the ending, I'm a super fan of John O'Brien! His writing is wonderful, his stories are gripping, and I've learned a bit about the world I live in. Swap Nightrunners for politicians and this was probably the truest fiction ever published.

Leaves you wanting more

It's like leaving a friend. I wish the series wasn't over but this was a good end. Love the series. From the night runners to the personal aspects of the book. Going for my second listen through. It gets intense some times and I can't put it down.

A fantastic end to a great series!

Absolutely one of the best series on audible. Well narrated and keeps you on the edge of your seat all the time. You'll laugh out loud often and you feel as if you are right there with the characters. Every detail is explained and described in great detail. . you can imagine everything so clearly. Which is the mark of a good book in my eyes. Thank You John O'Brein for countless great hours of entertainment!

The ending to an amazing story

The last book in the series proves to be another edge of your seat novel. By the last page, you will be filled with emotions from sadness to happiness, and nearly every other emotion that you can think of. The A New World Series is one of my top two book series. The audio version is fantastic. If john O'Brien writes any similar books I will buy them in a heartbeat, and Mark Gagliardi's narration is amazing.

All in all, an amazing series. You will want to listen to or read every book in the series and do so as if you're on Netflix binging on your favorite show.

What happens next???....

Really loved the book, awsome, just like the others in the series.....BUT, the ending seemed to be a little hastely written(?) just like a bad b-movie where the producers run out of money for the special effects at the end, and had to improvise.
Hope to see one more book.
