Anna was snot!

I did not like Anna's attitude - she was a brat! I could not understand WHY the rector loved her? She was so flirtatious and class conscious! Yuck!

Upbeat and pleasant

I liked both main characters. The story was okay if a little slow and unfocused. The upbeat and humorous tone of the narrator was pleasant, though she did mispronounce several basic regency words. I always appreciate clean romances with a little mystery. I’d rate it an extra star if it had kept my attention better.

What she thought she was born to do, quickly changed when on a vacation, and caught the eye of a man wanting to keep her there. Enjoyable with good narration

I listened to the book. Again, Jennie didn’t fail me.
Great book, the descriptions are wonderful, you know what the scenery looks like, people, and homes interior.
You won’t be disappointed!! Read it or hear it. Delightful.

Enjoyable Story

I very much enjoyed this story. I was somewhat frustrated by the narrator, who mispronounced a number of words ... repeatedly.
