Hi! I’m Seth! I was asked to describe my audiobook, Yearbook for websites and shit like that, so… here it goes!!!

Yearbook is a collection of true stories that I desperately hope are just funny at worst, and life-changingly amazing at best. (I understand that it’s likely the former, which is a fancy “book” way of saying “the first one.”)

I talk about my grandparents, doing stand-up comedy as a teenager, bar mitzvahs, and Jewish summer camp, and tell way more stories about doing drugs than my mother would like. I also talk about some of my adventures in Los Angeles, and surely say things about other famous people that will create a wildly awkward conversation for me at a party one day.

I hope you enjoy the audiobook should you buy it, and if you don’t enjoy it, I’m sorry. If you ever see me on the street and explain the situation, I’ll do my best to make it up to you.

“At first I was worried that Seth was writing a book, because I was like, ‘Oh no! What’s he gonna say?’ I was actually scared to even read it. But I’m very happy I did. It’s not really a memoir, like I thought it might be. I guess it’s more of a bunch of funny true stories? Does that make sense? He talks about doing stand-up when he was a kid (I drove him to all his shows!), his grandparents, high school, moving to LA, meeting some famous people, things like that. If I’m being honest, I really wish there wasn’t so much drug talk. Why does he need all that! It’s like, ‘We get it!’ And some of the stories? I mean, they’re entertaining, but I was just shocked they happened and he never told me! What else would someone expect?

Stoners are normally my least favorite person. It's just not my thing. Seth is just so charming and likable here that that it's easy to overlook it. The stories are genuine and he seems as amused by the things that happened to him as we are.

The most unique part is that he casts a lot of the people in his stories to voice themselves (his mom, Billy Idol, etc.) and then gets impressionists like Jay Pharoah to voice those he couldn't get. It's the best use of guests on an audiobook since the Beastie Boys' parade of guest stars on theirs.

It was an easy listen in the car and I finished it over the weekend. You don't have to be a total superfan of all his work to enjoy this collection of stories from his life.

Thanks for keeping me smiling & entertained through my agonizing work days. I expected nothing less from this beautiful man. Please write more. Read this if you love Seth. You will not regret

Funny and enjoyable

I really enjoyed the book until it got overly political, there are disgusting zealots on both sides but only acknowledging one side of goofs and not the other parties is sad. Other than that loved it.

Loved Every Minute

Love Seth more than ever. In fact, didn’t realize how much I love him until I listened to this. Not realize how much I do.

Love the production with all the voices chiming in but not to a distracting degree.

Hope he writes and reads another — but not too soon! Make it perfect, Seth, like this one.

Both the book and audiobook are great

Loved the book and the audiobook (did a weird hybrid of reading and listening for the first time ever). BUT, the book is written in such a readable and conversational way that Seth reading it doesn’t sound like a conversation. It’s still an awesome performance enhanced by the guest narrators, but still a caveat. I loved it. Will read again.
