Finally!

So pleased that this series is being added. Excellent narration! Eagerly awaiting the second one that is already on the horizon!

Sci-Fi War Thriller at it's finest

Dan Abnett continues his reign of sci-fi writing supremecy and Toby Longworth gives a flawless performance with the first tale of Commisar Gaunt and his Tanith Ghosts. I am a huge fan of Warhammer 40k lore and novels but I believe that all of Abnetts work can be appreciated by any loved of gritty grim-dark science fiction.

Too many characters

The story is great! You follow a main character that is almost a good guy in a universe full of evil. My main critique (and this may seem odd) is that there are far too many characters to keep in mind. I'd often find myself unsure who was who are what there personalities were. That being said that's my only real gripe with the story, highly recommend, just try and make mental notes of the characters.

Great story with a great reader

The reader Toby Longworth is the best I have come across out of the dozens and dozens of audiobooks I have read. He really brought this amazing book to life.

Excellent!!

I've read these books many times over, but wanted something familiar and well loved to listen to during my long commute to work. The narrator does an amazing job of bringing my favorite characters to life. This is how all audible books should be experienced!
